Princess Nokia is shedding negativity... and clothes, apparently!

The "I Like Him" singer celebrated starting a new chapter in her life on Thursday. Wearing nothing at all, she cleansed herself in her pool and vowed to live a healthier lifestyle. Princess Nokia, real name Destiny Nicole Frasqueri, started her celebratory clip by teasing her hair close up to the camera before teasing her fans by slowly swimming backward. Fortunately for her and unfortunately for us, the video was Instagram safe because her beautiful body was obscured by the water... it's still definitely worth a look!

The artist is in the middle of making some radical changes in her lifestyle but she seems very optimistic that it will be for the best.

"Entering a new phase in my life. Releasing my addictions, bad habits. Focusing on my health and my happiness. Reconnecting with god, my higher self, and my sacred womb. 19 days vegan. 1 week free of weed & tobacco. Dedicating myself entirely into my art and my spirit ? with shadow work comes the light," she captioned her swimming clip.

A few of her famous friends showed her love in the comments section of her post but she was very candid about her reasons for getting clean when questioned by her fans.

"Glowing angel✨," former Fifth Harmony singer Lauren Jauregui wrote, while Alicia Keys left explosion ??????? emojis for support.

She actually explained her choices to one follower who wanted to know what was up.

"Just curious: What’s your reasoning behind quitting weed?" the fan asked.

"weed is a great plant and medicinal weed. But I’ve been smoking since I was 12 years old, and habitually since I was 16... I’ve abused the plant.. it’s made me tired... when I have learned discipline and moderation then I will allow myself to her with intention and medicinal use," she replied.

A funny follower pointed out that the skinny dipping clip sort of resembled the music video for the song, "Stacey's Mom" by Fountains of Wayne. She must have found it funny because she shared a hilarious post where she did her best to recreate it and set the video to the song.

"Stacys Mom, Doña Lisette ??," she jokingly captioned the racy clip.

With a clear head and all of her focus on creativity, perhaps she will be entertaining her fans with more humorous social media videos. Some might say it's a new moon for the singer (sorry, bad joke).

Sure she's beautiful, sure she's funny, but the most interesting thing about the star has always been her music. Princess Nokia is one of the only artists that use entire albums to convey feelings or emotions rather than just individual songs. She made a statement this year about the dichotomy of all things by releasing two albums, one titled, "Everything Sucks" and one called, "Everything Is Beautiful." If those feelings don't describe 2020 perfectly then we don't know what does.
