Julianne Hough's Ex-Husband Responds To Divorce: I Don't Want Your Money!

Julianne Hough's ex-husband, Brooks Laich, has made it clear that he does not want any money from his ex-wife after she filed for divorce.
According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Laich responded to Hough's divorce filing and checked the box to terminate the court's ability to award spousal support to him. The former NHL star also asked the court to order no money to be given to her either.
In the filing, Laich agreed with Hough about not being able to nail down the exact date of their separation. But, agreed they were "no longer a couple".

As we reported, Julianne Hough filed for divorce earlier this month and claimed the couple signed an iron-clad prenup which will determine how they split up their financial accounts, property, jewelry, etc. In the new filing, Laich appears to not be challenging the existence of the document. and this is most likely responding this way for that reason.
In other words, they both have communicated to the court that they can support themselves financially and that this split should be quick and simple.
Interestingly, neither could lock down a separation date considering there were rumors of a possible reconciliation after the two were spotted vacationing together after they publically announced their split.

Julianne Hough broke her silence on the divorce by posting a video of herself practicing dance with her brother. Obviously, she is leaning on her family.
Plus, the former 'DWTS' star seemed to express having a rough time with the split by posting a cryptic message on Instagram, saying, "This year we’ve needed kindness more than ever, and that starts from within. The good news, Julianne has a major distraction from her divorce coming up as she is gearing up for a fun holiday tradition, the "Disney Holiday Sing-A-Long".
The actress and dancer is a performer for the popular event hosted by her ex-boyfriend Ryan Seacrest. In recent IG post she said, "It's beginning to look a lot like...❄️??? Cozy up and join me (+ all these incredible performers) for the #DisneyHolidaySingalong on Monday, Nov 30 at 8|7c on ABC!"
The couple announced their split several months ago, saying "We have lovingly and carefully taken the time we have needed to arrive at our decision to separate. We share an abundance of love and respect for one another and will continue to lead with our hearts from that place. We kindly request your compassion and respect for our privacy moving forward."
