Harry Hamlin is getting candid about his wife Lisa Rinnaand the real reason she chose to leave the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Lisa Rinna Faced Off With Sutton Stracke
At the beginning of last season, Sutton Stracke shared at a dinner with all the women and some of their husbands that Rinna kind of screwed her by not showing up to the Elton John AIDS event where Stracke had purchased a table.
Lisa vehemently denied that she didn’t show up, in fact, she doesn’t even recall that Sutton offered her a seat at her table and credited IMDb with getting herself and Hamlin into the event.
Harry has decided to take a minute out of his Sundance Film Festival promotion to call out the franchise and clear up why his wife really left the show.
Harry Hamlin Claims If The Fight Hadn’t Happened…
The actor claims “Lisa had all the receipts from that night, but they never showed the receipts on the reunion,” claims Hamlin who also blatantly said, Rinna “might still be on the show” if the fight over charity tickets never took place.
The Mayfair Witches actor truly believes “She might still be on the show had Sutton not said that,” claims a source who supposedly overheard the actor talking at the Sundance event. “She might still be on the show, but the audience believed Sutton.”
This comment wasn’t confirmed by a rep when Page Six reached out and honestly, the idea that Sutton’s charity blunder is what upset Rinna is a little crazy; fans are still split if she even quit or if she was actually fired.
Lisa Rinna Exits Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
The queen of mean made her exit after a disastrous season to mixed reactions. But, according to the insider, Harry pointed out that the move was sudden but necessary. “All good things come to an end. She took it as far as she could take it.”
Hamlin’s career is doing well so he is happy to allow Rinna to relax and hustle less. “Now I’m working like crazy so she doesn’t have to work.” The event where Hamlin chose to allegedly have this conversation was interesting.
Hamlin was attending the Creative Coalition and Entertainment Weekly’s Spotlight Initiative Awards Gala Dinner. A positive event is now possibly tainted with negative housewife talk. An event meant to honor people like Phoebe Dynevor and Randall Park.
Andy Cohen Co-Signed Lisa Rinna’s Receipts
If Harry Hamlin did say this, Andy Cohen said something similar during the season 12 reunion. Cohen said Rinna did bring “receipts relating to the Elton John AIDS Foundation ticket snafu,” but “we just wound up cutting it all out,” admitted Andy.
Andy explained, “there were a lot of decisions made in the edit to cut down many conversations.” Keep in mind, the women allegedly put this all behind them mid-way through the season, but Rinna still wanted to get her point across at the reunion. She really wanted to prove that she didn’t need Sutton to get into the exclusive event. Sutton even doubled down and claimed that Hamlin and Rinna didn’t “thank” her for getting them into the event.
