Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin couldn't resist the selfie action after her Monday morning shower. The 31-year-old's 1 million Instagram followers got their weekday kick-off early as Nastia updated from her Dallas, TX home today, with the five-time Olympic medalist still wet-haired after her shower – possibly a bath, given that Nastia recently extended both legs to "bring bubble baths back in 2020" for an Olay skincare promo. Nastia, who has been defending her body amid an anorexia storm, was proving the haters can hate. Check it out below.

Scroll for the photo, plus the headline-making video of Nastia walking on her hands. The 2008 all-around Olympic champion's selfie today comes just weeks after she fronted media outlets for clapping back – a fan DM asking Nastia how she feels about "promoting borderline anorexia looking bodies" did not go down well.
The selfie, showing Nastia's all-white bedroom and an unmade bed, brought the Russian-born star in likewise all-white. She wore low-slung sweatpants and a tiny matching crop top, with space between the two flaunting her cheese-grater abs as feet apart flaunted that massive thigh gap.
Keep scrolling for the selfie. Nastia, who retired from professional gymnastics aged just 22 back in 2012, has been revisiting the sport that made her famous, also showing that the skill-set inherited from her two Olympic gymnast parents is a for-life deal.
If you don't live inside Nastia's Instagram, the feed has been documenting everything from Nastia's October 30th birthday and her celebratory Shake Shack birthday burger to her kicking off a YouTube channel – "the real" Nastia is what fans can expect, but she won't be spilling all the "tea."

October marked a difficult moment for Nastia. Shocked at the anorexia fan DM, the beauty blogger and fashionista both reposted the message and delivered her own – Nastia admitted to being "triggered" and "pissed" at the comment, then responding:
"If taking pictures of my OWN body — a body that won me many Olympic medals, a body that I push each day to get stronger, a body that God gave me — is inherently promoting anorexia, then honestly, we've gotten to a place in the world where just BEING is offensive."

Nastia may have her mind-blowing flexibility and agility behind her fame, but the girl who traversed those beams as the world watched is nowhere near done with fitness. Despite admitting to gaining 10 to 20 pounds after retiring – Nastia felt "lost" in regular gyms – the Pilates lover is now showing she's fitter than ever. Likewise, her mean boxing side
A recent promo for the Bright Fitness App Nastia influences for saw her in hot pink spandex and tan gloves as she wrote:
"I said I wanted to get stronger, and here I am. I’m showing up for myself every day. I almost stopped boxing because I couldn’t get back into the gym, but where there’s a will, there’s a way."
