Fears Ryan Seacrest Quitting Amid Kelly Ripa's 'Extreme' Behavior

Yes, it's reached that point. Ryan Seacrest's fans are today asking whether the 45-year-old is quitting "Live! With Kelly and Ryan," with the questions coming as 50-year-old co-host Kelly Ripa makes headlines for behavior deemed "extreme" by viewers. If you aren't up-to-date, talk show queen Kelly has been getting comments up the wazoo these past weeks. They kicked off with worries over the pint-sized star's weight after her pantless "Wonder Woman" Halloween throwback, but fresher remarks have centered over Kelly's behavior. Check it out below.

Scroll for today's video and the comments. Kelly, who has been hosting "Live!" since joining the syndicated talk show in 2001, sparked concern multiple times last week, including during an episode seeing "Jersey Shore" star JWoww as guest.

"Omg .. what has been wrong with Kelly the last couple of days .. she is over the top .. constant talking .. very hyper ...," one fan had written.

"I've noticed a change in her behavior, I don't like how she treats Ryan," another had said.

Keep scrolling for the video. Users, who had joked about "All My Children" alum being on adderall, were also quick to call her short-tempered: "She’s always cranky with Ryan & Gelman," one fan wrote, referencing executive producer Michael Gelman.

Today's video, seeing "American Idol" host Ryan and Kelly chatting about putting Christmas trees up early, saw Kelly make a bold statement – "Enough is enough," the blonde said as she likely referenced the COVID pandemic. "I mean honestly, because it's... enough already. We've all had enough."

Comments left to Monday's pre-show footage were quick to see users wondering whether Ryan will be sticking around.

"Is Ryan leaving the show?" one user asked, with another replying: "???" and a third writing: "Idk, is he?"

Ryan has starred on "Live!" since 2017. Back in 2018, The National Enquirer speculated that Ryan would be quitting "Live!" over Kelly's "diva" behavior, writing that he was "fed up" with the mom of three. A spokesperson for Ryan did, however, state the claims to be untrue.

Fans might be fussing about Ryan's status, but it's actually Kelly who's indicated she might be quitting. On October 2, Kelly turned 50. The "Hope & Faith" actress opened up to Parade about hitting the big FIVE-OH, then stating she had plans to do more behind-the-scenes production work.

“I’ve been writing a lot, so my goal ultimately would be to eventually get off camera and start working behind the camera more in that creative aspect because I really do enjoy the writing process so much," she said.
