The singer, who is considered the blueprint for entertainers of today, loves to keep her loyal fans up to date with content via her Instagram account and is no stranger to sending them into a frenzy.
For Jackson's most recent post, the "What Have You Done for Me Lately" hitmaker shared a new selfie that definitely didn't go unnoticed.

What Has She Been Up To?
2019 was a very big and busy year for Miss Jackson.
In May, she kicked off her first-ever Las Vegas residency at the Park Theater, "Metamorphosis." She performed a total of 18 shows at the venue and an average of $722,000 with 4,000 tickets per night, per The Source.
However, Jackson didn't stop there. In June, she made an appearance at Glastonbury Festival and reminded her U.K. fans of her huge hits from over the years.
Toward the end 2019, Jackson made a surprise appearance at the British Fashion Awards and surprised Rihanna with the Urban Luxe Award for her fashion brand Fenty Beauty

The answer to that is... BEAUTIFUL.
Jackson has always been known for her baby face and has clearly not aged a day. The Grammy Award winner might be 54-years-old but that's just a number.
For her most recent Instagram post, the superstar appears to be lying down in black attire. Jackson rocked long dark braids, a look she was known for when playing the role of Justice in "Poetic Justice."
She gazed directly at the camera lens with a smile and boasted her natural beauty while she seemingly wasn't wearing any visible makeup.
The Jan Fam Have Nothing But Love For Their Queen
In the span of three days, Jackson's post made a huge impression on her 5.2 million followers, racking up more than 201,000 likes and over 4,100 comments from her fans -- also known as the Jan Fam -- who always have nothing but love for their queen.
"OMG You always drop these selfies at the right time!!! Made me happy," one user wrote.
"I always cant believe how young you look," another person shared.
"MY EYES HAVE BEEN BLESSED," remarked a third fan passionately in capital letters.

What Does Jackson Have Planned Next?
At the beginning of the year, Jackson announced that she would be releasing a new studio album titled "Black Diamond."
Since the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, she has been very quiet about the release. When making a surprise visit on "The View" earlier this year, Jackson revealed that she was finishing up the album.
She had plans to tour the record across North America, which has been put on hold for now.
Fans are still hopeful the album is coming. However, it seems Jackson is waiting for the right time to launch her next era.
