It’s been over a year since Tristan Thompson was caught cheating on Khloe Kardashian.

Khloe’s made her feelings known about the situation. As fans have seen on “KUWTK,” Khloe’s sought the support of her family as she dealt with the aftermath of Tristan’s betrayal.

As for Tristan, he’s been silent about the scandal. However, on last night’s “KUWTK” finale, he finally opened up about his feelings.

As the couple contemplated whether to get back together, Tristan issued a heartfelt apology to the Kardashians for his actions.

So did Tristan’s gesture help win back Khloe?

Khloe and Tristan’s relationship has been plagued with one heartache after another.

In 2018, Khloe was preparing for the upcoming birth of her daughter True. What was supposed to be a happy moment for the reality star soon turned to agony. 

Khloe learned that Tristan had cheated on her throughout her pregnancy. Despite the pain she felt, Khloe gave Tristan another chance.

However, months later Tristan found himself in hot water again. The Cleveland Cavaliers player was involved in another cheating scandal when he was caught with Kylie Jenner’s friend Jordyn Woods.

After the affair with Jordyn became public, Khloe broke up with Tristan in early 2019.

Earlier this year, reports surfaced that Tristan and Khloe were taking steps towards a reunion.

During the coronavirus pandemic, the pair quarantined together and that’s when old feelings started to stir. The exes were considering trying to work things out for the sake of their daughter True.

Soon photos started to circulate of the two attending Kardashian family gatherings or at a friend’s house.

Although, reports stated the two were back together, the couple never confirmed nor denied the rumors.

However, last night’s “KUWTK” episode gave a hint at where things stand between the exes.

Tristan has apologized to Khloe for his infidelity, which helped the 36-year-old move past her issues.

However, Tristan wasn’t done with the apologies.

As seen on the “KUWTK” finale, Tristan had an emotional talk with Khloe’s mother Kris Jenner.

Tristan told Kris he was sorry for breaking the promise to protect her daughter. He also said that he lost a part of himself when he lost Khloe.

Kris then told Tristan that not only did he hurt Khloe, but he also hurt the family. She then appeared to give Tristan her blessing by saying she wanted him, Khloe, and True to be happy.

After issuing apologies to Kris, it was the moment of truth for Tristan.

In a sit down with Khloe, the pair discussed whether to get back together.

Despite Tristan’s efforts to change, Khloe admits she still has trust issues when it comes to him.

She then went on to say that she does love Tristan, but isn’t currently in love with him.

However, she would like for them to have a happy, fairytale ending.

So it looks like “KUWTK” confirmed Khloe and Tristan’s reunion. Although there’s mixed reactions towards their reconciliation, fans are hoping for the best with the couple.
