Nia Long Sparks Frenzy Online After Spotted Getting Cozy With Terrence J

Nia Long's Dubai sighting with Terrence J has got their fans talking!

Long's relationship status has come up a lot since she seemingly parted ways with her fiancé, Ime Udoka, following the cheating scandal that trailed him last year. The Boston Celtics head coach was accused of — and suspended for — having a consensual relationship with a female member of the basketball team's staff. 

Udoka and Long had been engaged for seven years before the allegations broke in September. The couple has an 11-year-old son together.

Long and Terrence were part of the prestigious guests present in Dubai at the Atlantis The Royal Hotel in Dubai, where Beyoncé had her first performance in five years.

However, much more than enjoying the exceptional show by Queen B, the pair had a time of their own and were seen getting quite cozy. Fans became giddy after a viral clip showed side-by-side footage of Terrence J opening the car door for the "Big Momma's House" star on a night out to Nobu, Dubai.

The first clip showed the pair sharing a laugh as Long struggled to get out of the low-ride McLaren with her date's help, and the second featured them returning to the car after their alleged date.

Terrence is heard asking his date what they are doing as they walk toward the McLaren. He also appealed to the attendant standing by the door to "very slowly put the door down on Nia."

The video stitch immediately got the attention of TheShadeRoom's followers, who filled the post's comment section with applause and praise for Long. 

"I love this era for her!," one person gushed, and another wrote, "Nia has been living her very BEST life and it is bringing me so much joy! IKDR."

The "Are We There Yet?" star's outing equally received attention on Twitter, with one fan claiming, "Nia Long out here living her best life after her situation. I know her ex is SICK!" Another chimed, "Okay, Nia Long in her hot girl era with her fine self ?." 

A third person pointed out that Long was "showing that man EVERYTHING he fumbled cuz ??," while a fourth fan tweeted, "I just love how Nia Long is outside making up for lost time and I love even more how the finest Black men in Hollywood are showing us how a beautiful Black woman such as herself is actually supposed to be adored, desired, and gassed up … not just acknowledged!"

A fifth fan admitted,  "I've seen Nia Long flirt with 3 different dudes this past week and I ain't mad at her FINE a** lol ?." Referring to the "106 & Park" host's previous relationships, another onlooker tweeted, "Terrance J already proved he can't handle a baddie. Nia Long is way out of his league?."

While fans wait to see Long's reaction to the latest celebrity pairing, "The Best Man" star was recently romantically linked with another Black celebrity, singer Omarion. The Blast previously reported that she was rumored to be dating Omarion after they appeared on the red carpet for the premiere of her new film "You People."

The pair were snapped holding hands and even sharing a hug at some point as they walked the carpet together. Suspicions about their relationship were heightened after the "Post To Be" singer uploaded several pictures and a clip of his interaction with "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star, along with a string of blushing emojis on social media.

However, Long was quick to quell the speculations, taking to the comments section of a Shade Room post where Omarion's upload was reposted to write, "Everybody simmer down… I’m single AF."

Months after Udoka's cheating scandal broke out, it was reported that Long called it quits with the basketball coach, ending their engagement.

A source claimed that even though the"situation is unfortunate and painful," the "Friday" star was concerned about raising her children and getting her life back on track. The insider also confirmed that the former couple was "no longer together but remain fully committed to co-parenting their son."

Their breakup came on the heels of the Celtics holding a press conference, weeks after the start of the 2022-23 NBA season, to address the Nigerian-American's suspension.

It was deduced at the time that Udoka had violated "team policies" by having an affair, leading to the re-evaluation of his future with the team. The 45-year-old had released a statement shortly after that read:

"I want to apologize to our players, fans, the entire Celtics organization, and my family for letting them down. I am sorry for putting the team in this difficult situation, and I accept the team's decision."

He also specified that he was no longer speaking about the incident.
