Arnold Schwarzenegger and son Christopher are being sued by an alleged victim of a serious car accident who claims they suffered "severe injuries," after the famous family caused a crash.
According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, the accident took place last month in Los Angeles a day before Halloween. The alleged victim, Gad Kakanyisa, claims the "Terminator" actor and his company Oak Production, Inc along with his youngest son, Chris Schwarzenegger, were "owners and operators of the vehicle" that struck his Toyota.
It's unclear who was driving at the time, but we know the accident occurred on Sunset Boulevard, a famously busy street in the heart of Hollywood. As you know, there have been so many celebrity car accidents on Sunset Boulevard...it's hard to keep count!
See The Details...Below.
In the lawsuit, the driver of the other car described the incident, stating, "the defendants, and each of them, so negligently entrusted, managed, maintained, drove, and operated said vehicle so as to cause (Arnold's) vehicle to collide with the (his) vehicle proximately causing those injuries."
The alleged victim continued, "as a direct and proximate result of the acts and omissions of the (The Schwarzenegger's) he has received severe injuries to (his) body and shock and injuries to (his) nervous system, all of which cause him severe pain and discomfort."
At this point, the other driver is claiming his injuries have stopped him from being able to do his normal job and is asking for over $25,000 is damages.
There's More...
As in many of these cases, the alleged victim is asking for money to cover his medical expenses and any further amount spent on future expenses.
Let's be honest, it's clear Arnold is one of the wealthiest celebrities in the world -- so when you get hit by one of his cars, it's lawsuit time. It should be noted, in most cases, the insurance company for the at-fault driver will cover any damages or settlements in the case. In other words, any money paid won't come out of Arnold's pockets.
Keep Scrolling...
The former Governor of California and his son Christopher are no strangers to serious accidents. In 2011, Christopher suffered a serious boogie boarding accident in Malibu that landed him in the ICU with broken bones and a collapsed lung.
At the time, his mother Maria Shriver called 911 reporting that her son couldn't move and was having trouble breathing. Christopher eventually healed from his injuries and most recently showed off his newly ripped physique after graduating with a BA from the University of Michigan.
The Schwarzenegger's have yet to respond to the new lawsuit.
