'Bachelor' Alum Clare Crawley Overcomes Fear Of Snorkeling

Clare Crawley, who is best known for her time on the “Bachelor” television franchise, is enjoying this next chapter of her life with fiancé Ryan Dawkins.

The two recently went snorkeling together, which Crawley says was an amazing experience.

The recently engaged couple are going on many adventures together -- the most recent being diving underwater and going snorkeling.

"So today we went snorkeling!," Crawley began her caption. "I was convinced there were sharks just waiting to circle us, octopus that were going to cling to our legs, and any other creatures that my nightmares are made of."

"But when we got out there, past my fears, it was the most beautiful serene space that I never would have known about iff I let fear win," she continued. "Lesson of the day: Don't be scared of what you don't already know!"

Many of Crawley's fans congratulated her on overcoming her fear and supporting her through her journey. "Beautiful! I'm with you," one fan wrote.

"Snorkeling is so much fun! Especially when you see a school of fish, and you can literally go through them and they will part ways and come back together as you pass them," another fan commented. "It's an amazing experience! It's also amazing if you look to your left or right and you see a big turtle swimming with you! Glad you overcame your fears."

Another one of Crawley's fans wrote, "Same! I start panicking and spin in every direction to be sure I am ready for that shark that I'm convinced is coming for me! I love snorkeling and have to work on chilling and enjoying it!"

Ryan Dawkins, Crawley's fiancé, commented on the video, "Anything is possible baby. Love our life!," to which the former "Bachelorette" lead replied, "I felt safe because of you!"

Crawley got her heart broken multiple times on the “Bachelor” franchise, including when she was the lead on "The Bachelorette." She even made the decision to leave the show early, as she thought she found the one with Dale Moss. The two got engaged but then went on to have an on-again, off-again relationship. In October 2021, the two announced their split.

Luckily, Clare Crawley has finally found love with her now fiancé Ryan Dawkins.

"He has held me in my darkness, loves me through my healing, and we now celebrate the light together! The easiest YES of my life ❤️," she wrote on Instagram when announcing the news.

Crawley also recently spoke out on her new relationship with Dawkins, saying, “And so this time with Ryan, it’s like that moment was so beautiful. And he got emotional, which made me so emotional. He was so, just, respectful and loving — and he is still so kind to my mom.”

She continued, “You never know where life is going to lead you. I’m 41 years old, going on 42, almost. And I thought, ‘I’m still so lucky to have that moment with Ryan and with my mom.’ But not only that, my mom is still here and she’s still giving her best! She’s comfortable and happy right now.”
