The article was titled "The Hustlers at Scores" and followed several New York strippers who drugged rich clients and used their credit cards for large bills at the strip club.

For her performance in the film, Lopez was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. During the same Vanity Fair lie detector test episode, Tatum was also asked if he thinks he's a better stripper than "Magic Mike XXL" co-star Joe Manganiello. Tatum didn't waste a second to hesitate before saying he's "one hundred percent" better at stripping than Manganiello. The detector also confirmed that the actor was telling the truth again.

Tatum explained further, saying, "We're different, different classes of strippers. When you look in the dictionary next to like the perfect specimen of a man, probably Joe Manganiello is one of those bodies that pops up because he's just, he's kind of weirdly flawless. But, as far as stripping goes, I would put myself above him, dance-wise. Sorry, Joe."
