Britney Spears Tugs Down Shorts for Worrisome 'Final' Video

Britney Spears sent the anxiety of her loyal fanbase into overdrive on Monday afternoon when she suddenly reappeared on social media, after a days-long hiatus, and implied that she may not be posting videos for a while. The move is the latest in a string of bizarre moments with the embattled pop star as she continued to cause media attention for the battle with those in control of her life, including her father, who remain at the head of the star's conservatorship.

The 38-year-old "Lucky" singer hit up Instagram at the beginning of the week after going MIA for days and causing conspiracy theories to fly around between the loyal followers in the #FreeBritney movement. However, eases were not put to rest when Britney finally emerged back on social media because she made an interesting comment about her latest video post.

"So I’m saying this is the final video," Britney wrote while showing herself in a familiar-looking video. In the clip, the star is wearing a crop top with flowers in her head and gently tugging down her khaki shorts.

Britney followed up that she was sharing the video from her passion project, "Touch of Rose," and also admitting it wasn't anything new.

"I’m posting for “Just A Touch of Rose” ???..... but you know with us artists ...... you never know really ???‍♀️✨!!!! PS this video is actually 3 months old."

Although it appears Britney was touting her ongoing art project, many fans were trying to read between the lines and became very worried about the implications of Britney's mysterious caption.

"Final video??" one fan questioned in Britney's comments.

"[My] thoughts exactly. Worried," a second fan replied.

One person tried to decode the message and calm down the masses, writing, "what she means by rose project is exactly what you’ve seen. They’re the videos and pics she put up with that rose thing on her head. That’s literally all it is."

Another fan theorized, "[The] final video of her rose project that she was telling about in her previous videos and posts. Not the final video ever."

Although the debate around Britney Spears continues, the star recently posted a video message on Instagram trying to calm everyone's fears and letting fans know she is doing just fine.

"So I know there have been a lot of comments and a lot of people saying a lot of different things about me. I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm fine, I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life," Britney nervously told her fans.

Unfortunately, many felt the message was controlled by her team and the unrest in the #FreeBritney community continues.
