Lil Durk Deactivates His Instagram Following Murder Of Close Friend, King Von

In the early hours of November 6, breakout Chicago rapper,King Von, was tragically shot and killed in Atlanta outside of Monaco Hookah Lounge in the downtown area at the age of 26.
TMZ reported that six people were reportedly shot as three died from their injuries. The shootout was reported to have been between his and Quando Rondo's crews.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution later proved an update where one of the three people remained in critical condition. It was also confirmed that 22-year-old Timothy Leeks was charged with murder for his involvement in the shooting. Warrants were issued on November 7.

“Mr. Leeks is in police custody at Grady Hospital where he is undergoing treatment for a gunshot wound,” said Atlanta police spokeswoman Marla Jean Rooker to AJC.com. “The homicide of Bennett is closed with this arrest.”
Fellow star Chicago rapper, Lil Durk, found out about Von's death while on Instagram Live and later posted a tribute photo with the caption "MY TWIN GONE ð¢ð¢ I LOVE YOU BABY BRO - D ROY !!!!!" He has since deactivated his Instagram account, as many assume he needs time to grieve.

Lil Durk Appeared On Two Songs On Von's New 'Welcome to O'Block' Album
Over a week ago, Von had also released his new album, 'Welcome To O'Block.' This project contains 16 tracks with appearances by Durk, Dreezy, Fivio Foreign, Polo G, and more. Durk was featured on the songs "Back Again" which also included Prince Dre along with "All These N**gas."
The album has since gone on to debut at No. 14. on the Billboard 200 chart with 25k units sold in its first week. This was the biggest debut of his career for a project so far.

Lil Durk Has Had A Very Impressive 2020 Musically As Well
In May, Durk released his fifth studio album, 'Just Cause Y'all Waited 2.' This debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart as it was led by singles such as "Chiraq Demons" featuring G Herbo," "All Love," and "3 Headed Goat" featuring Lil Baby and Polo G. 3 Headed Goat was the biggest song from the album as it has since been certified gold by the RIAA.
In September, Durk also appeared on Drake's "Laugh Now Cry Later" single, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Von's Ex-Girlfriend, Asian Doll, Has Also Been Paying Homage To Him
One who has been having difficulty coping with the sudden death of Von is Dallas rapper, Asian Doll, who had split from Von in August. In early October, Von had denied getting back with her. Nonetheless, the two still had love for each other as Doll as since been posing content of when the two were together.

Prayers go out to Von and his friends and family on this loss. The fan support has been real since his passing as streams have gone up heavily since then for projects such as Welcome To O'Block and "Levon James."
