We've All Been Pronouncing Raven Symone's Name Wrong, Fans Say It's Too Late

Raven Symone is checking all of us today, apparently, we have been pronouncing her name wrong her entire career.

Now, one would assume a basic name spelled with a flare with still be pronounced the same way but where is the egg and where are the faces, because Raven Symone is a way more complicated name than we ever thought.

Raven hopped on the gram to share a little video of how we should all be saying her name. she used a reel with a voiceover that says “shut up it is not, yes it is, no it’s not, yes it is!” insists the voice over.

Meanwhile, Raven is pointing to words that appear on the screen phonetically spelling out the actresses name. “It’s pronounced See-mon-ye,” she informs the masses. Say what? This is news to us Raven.

The actress has been in the industry literally all her life. When is she not working? She has always gone by Raven Symone and she has appeared on many talk shows where she has been introduced as Raven Symone.

So where is this “See-mon-ye” coming from and why are you just correcting us now? The video is comical as Raven sits in her car and reacts to the voiceover with perfect precision and very not so serious demeanour.

Does she want us all to just start calling her by the right name now? It’s gonna be hard seeing as we only a Raven Symone over here. And our minds are already fixated to say her name the way we have been saying her name for her thrity-something years in Hollywood.

Many of the people who have come across the video are wondering what the hell is going on seeing as Raven has done plenty of Disney Channel promos where says her name the way we’ve all been saying her name for decades.

“I’m Raven Symone & you’re watching the Disney Channel” ??” mocked one follower who came across the news on TheShadeRoom.

“Hi, my name is Raven Suh-moan, and you’re watching Disney Channel ?”… That’s what she been telling us. Don’t nobody know no Symon-yè… ????,” mocked another follower.

Another follower agreed with what we said earlier, its already Symone to us! “too late, sa-mone is already in my long term memory.”

So which one is it miss Raven? At this pint fans are threatening to just use “Baxter” the last name of her Raven’s House character.

Wasn’t it just Raven a few months ago who made a who TikTok video about not hiring people on her team with “ghetto” names or specifically cultural names that have some kind of flare to them?

Here she is now adding some kind of flare to her name. this sentiment was not lost on her followers and she was promptly called out for that as well. “Not the same person that “WOULDNT HIRE A PERSON WITH A GHETTO NAME” oh no not her ????.”
