Julianne Hough is officially asking for no spousal support to be paid to her ex-husband, Brooks Laich after we've learned the estranged couple had an iron-clad prenup.
According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Julianne Hough's divorce filing includes details of a prenup the couple signed before getting hitched, and it contains specific language about what is to be paid in spousal support if the couple splits.
In the filing, Hough is asking a judge to order no spousal support for Brooks, but she is also saying she doesn't expect any spousal support in return.

As we reported, Julianne filed for divorce from Brooks earlier this month, after the couple reportedly gave their relationship another shot.
In the divorce documents, the former 'DWTS' star says her separate property, "has yet to determine the fuII nature and extent of the separate property assets and obligations of each party per the terms of their Premarital Agreement".
In other words, like most famous stars in Hollywood, the couple signed a prenup that specifically lays out what money and property belong to each person. They are commonly used and are sometimes crucial in divorces involving rich celebrities!
Plus, celebrity divorces usually include expensive attorney's fees and Julianne is requesting that she and her ex pay their own fees and costs.
Julianne filed for divorce on November 2nd, months after the couple announced their split -- citing irreconcilable differences. The ex-couple have no children and usually divorces like these are very quick and simple. It should be noted, Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich are both successful in their own right and will most likely keep what they entered the marriage with in the end.
The couple announced their separation a few months ago, saying, "We have lovingly and carefully taken the time we have needed to arrive at our decision to separate. We share an abundance of love and respect for one another and will continue to lead with our hearts from that place. We kindly request your compassion and respect for our privacy moving forward."
There's More...
The couple's relationship was plagued by rumors after they decided not to quarantine together during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Her actions are what caused her divorce. Brooks did not want a divorce, but he felt pushed toward it because of how Julianne was behaving. But Brooks is not the one who is bummed now," a source told US Weekly.
As we reported, Julianne broke her silence on the situation after posting a video of herself dancing with her brother, Derek Hough. The dancer didn't make a formal statement regarding the divorce, but it's clear she is leaning on her family.
