Kim Kardashian Still Saying Yes To Her $10K 40th BDay Dress With Sister Throwback

When you spend a ton of dough on your birthday dress, you better make sure you get your money's worth!

Kim Kardashian showed some sisterly love on Friday when she shared a throwback pic of Kourtney Kardashian and herself. The photos were from Kim's fancy 40th birthday party on October 21 and featured their amazing party dresses. Kim spent nearly $10K on her dress, so you better believe she is going to milk as much Instagram content out of it as possible!

As you may recall, Kourtney, Khloe, and momager Kris Jenner threw Kim an epic birthday party. Kim wore a rare item from Vivienne Westwood’s iconic Spring 1988 “Time Machine” collection. The dress is gorgeous but it also fits perfectly with the ~~theme~~ themes of the party. The shindig included a walk down memory lane with recreations of all of Kim's previous birthday parties.

Other items from the iconic collection have been displayed at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum and the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, according to Page Six. A very similar dress is currently listed on 1stdibs.com for $10,041.

As we previously mentioned, Kim's party featured aspects of all her past parties. The sentimental star penned a lengthy thank you to her family members for making the night special.

"All I can say is WOW! My mom and my sisters threw me the most epic surprise party that was so special in my heart," Kim said at the time.

"They re-created all of my special birthdays throughout my life from looking at all of our old home videos. They re-created the party, The same balloons, the same cake, everything! My dad video taped and documented our whole lives so they showed each of the videos of my birthdays on a big screen behind the party.

Kim continued, "Each and every detail that went into this was so special and I am forever grateful to my family for taking the time to put this together to celebrate me turning 40."

Kardashian couldn't let her birthday pass by without making her fans drool a little! A few days after her party, she waded in the turquoise water and shared some bikini snaps.

"This is 40!" she captioned her thirst trap.

The post quickly jumped to over 7 million likes and almost as many comments.

"sure is!" Kendall Jenner commented while Kardashian family friend, Simon Huck wrote, "And there it is! ☄️☄️"

If you think you did a good job making Halloween 2020 fun and amazing for you kids, think again because Kim and Kanye went all out! The whole family dressed up as spiders and Kim had her entire house transformed into a spider burrow, complete with lots of webs and a trampoline room.

True "KUWTK" fans know that spiders are her biggest fear but she stated that the spooky experience helped her.
