Brandi Glanville Apologizes For Erika Jayne Divorce Post On Twitter

"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Brandi Glanville faced backlash on social media after sharing a post about Erika Jayne and Thomas Girardi's divorce earlier this week but has since taken it upon herself to offer an apology for sharing the post about the matter on her Twitter and Instagram pages.

Following a number of critical comments from her online audience members, many of whom felt that Brandi's post was inappropriate, especially considering she stars on a reality show with Erika, Brandi offered a response to those who have called her out.

"I took a Xanax earlier because of what’s going on in this world. I didn’t see the post on my IG about [Erika Jayne] until this eve [and] I deleted it the second I saw it," Brandi explained in a November 3 Twitter post. 

Brandi went on to say that her account is leased out. So when it comes to her post, she does not have a say in what is shared.

"As I’ve said in the past o lease my social media out. I in no way would’ve been that insensitive," she insisted.

According to a report from Entertainment Tonightearlier this week, Brandi removed the posts about Erika and Thomas' shocking divorce from her Twitter and Instagram pages but on Facebook, there is still a post dedicated to the couple's split.

"#RHOBH #BreakingNews Erika & Tom DIVORCING," the caption reads.

As fans of "RHOBH" have likely heard, Erika filed for divorce on Tuesday, November 3, after 21 years of marriage to Thomas. And, at the time, she confirmed the upsetting news with a statement.

"After much consideration, I have decided to end my marriage to Tom Girardi," Erika told Entertainment Tonight in her statement. "This is not a step taken lightly or easily. I have great love and respect for Tom and for our years and the lives we built together."

Erika and Thomas' marriage was odd to some due to the 32-year age gap between them. However, to others, there appeared to be great admiration in their relationship, despite the many years between them.

Brandi appeared on the 10th season of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and was spoken about a lot due to her allegations of an affair with now-ex-cast member Denise Richards. However, after telling her fans and followers that she had not been asked to appear on season 11, Brandi has seemingly kept her distance from the cast.

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season 11 is currently in production with at least one new cast member and will air on Bravo sometime in 2021.
