Peta Murgatroyd looks delighted as she flaunts her growing baby bump.

The "DWTS" dancer and her husband, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, recently announced that they were expanding their family, prompting random pictures and video updates of her baby bump. Days later, the soon-to-be mother-of-two is basking in the euphoria of her pregnancy glow.

Peta Murgatroyd Shows Off 'Poppin' Baby Bump

Taking to her Instagram Story, the "Burn the Floor" star posted a five seconds clip, wearing a comfortable off-white pajamas-like ensemble in what looked like a hotel room. Her freshly made curly blonde hair and flawless makeup completed the look — the front of the bedroom mirror where Murgatroyd stood displayed hair and body products.

However, the video's highlight was her big rounded baby bump sticking out from the buttoned-down sweater she wore. Murgatroyd moved the camera around to show the full view of her stomach. Looking so giddy, she turned to her side and raised her shirt a bit before the video ended. The 36-year-old captioned the post, "Poppin," along with a Hamburger emoji which makes a joke about her stomach getting more prominent.

This beloved post comes on the heels of her pregnancy announcement with her husband earlier this year. The couple, who have been married since 2017, share a son Shai and ultimately tried adding another child to the family.

Per The Blast, Murgatroyd lost three pregnancies during that period for a new child and had first sought fertility treatment to help them get pregnant, all to no avail. Fortunately, the female dancer ended up getting pregnant naturally.

The 36-year-old shared the newborn news with a carousel of photos of her baby bump on Instagram, adding that she was unaware she was pregnant for weeks. In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, she recalled feeling the usual symptoms but decided against taking a pregnancy test for a while.

After confirming that she was pregnant, she admitted she felt "skeptical" due to her previous miscarriages. Now that she is pregnant, Murgatroyd said she feels enthusiastic about showing off her baby bump but is not prepared to reveal the sex of the child. Speaking to the publication, she said:

"I didn't even know I was pregnant for so long until I was really feeling sick. I danced through Dancing with the Stars with it."

Murgatroyd recalled being unaware that her weird sensations stemmed from her pregnancy. She noted, "I started feeling weird, started feeling a little bit sick and a little bloated, and I didn't want to test for weeks."

Murgatroyd recounted the shock when she saw the positive result by saying, "It just came up super quick, and I was just shocked." Despite the fantastic news, the dancer, who was almost 18 weeks along, could not help but celebrate her win quietly because of her precious miscarriages and fear of whether she would carry the baby to term.

Peta Murgatroyd's Husband, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Recounted Their IVF Journey

Knowledge of Murgatroyd finding out about the pregnancy and being all quiet about it brings to mind how Chmerkovskiy spoke about their IVF journey. A previous report by The Blast detailed how they fared in their journey to expand their family of three.

Chmerkovskiy emphasized that watching his wife undergo the in-vitro fertilization process was complex. Murgatroyd informed the public of a failed pregnancy attempt in August, but Chmerkovskiy's revealed in October that they had no intention to stop there.

However, the pro dancer said they would look for other options to expand their family. In an interview with E! News, he said, "We still want a family that's bigger than what we are. We are still going to continue attempts, and we'll see what happens, regardless of the fact we're going to have a bigger family, whether through adoption or whatever this may be."

The couple received much support from fans going through a similar issue but Chmerkovskiy admitted that he was wary about his wife's decision to be open about their challenges but now saw that it was a wise decision. He said, "The more real we are with each other, the better the society will be all around."
