Selena Gomez Wants You To Know She Is Single!

Selena Gomez is not off the streets!

The singer and Drew Taggart had earlier been rumored to be an item as inner sources reportedly noted that the pair were casually spending time together. Not much is known about her dating life, and she is determined to keep it that way. In a surprising move, the star addressed the rumors, and fans had some things to say.

Since the "Wizards of Waverly Place" actress' public breakup with Justin Bieber in March 2018 after dating on and off since 2011, she has been constantly linked to several names in the industry like Charlie Puth, Niall Horan, Zedd, and The Weeknd who was her most recent before the "Chainsmokers" star.

The Texas native and The Weeknd were involved in January 2017 before the pair broke it off in October of that same year. Taggart also has his list of names, his most recent being Steve Jobs' daughter, Eve Jobs, a fellow DJ.

The former couple was said to have been engaged in a short fling last year during the Summer holiday before calling it off afterward. Sources disclosed that they ended things amicably and chose to remain friends.  

The actress took to her Instagram story to post a picture that showed a cloudy background, with the words, "I like being alone too much." At the bottom, she wrote clearly, "#iamsingle," putting an end to speculations about her love life.

It did not take long for the information to reach Twitter, and many had quite a lot to say, like this person that noted jokingly, "Selena Gomez really denies every relationship rumor except the Chris Evans one… she's #real."

One fan seemed more relieved that she cleared the air by writing, "Thank God !!! That guy was worse than Bieber. Just google his name @selenagomez." Another follower also expressed relief with a "Thank God" over Gomez's post before coming back to ask who the guy at the bottom of the picture was. 

Apart from wanting to know who she is dating, it looks like they have an idea of the particular kind of man they want her with judging by this tweet which read, "good to know you're saving your heart for a black man I know that's right! @selenagomez.”

Although there might be a case of different opinions as this person opined that they would prefer her to be with someone from her race, writing, "thank you sister, we'll get you a nice Latino @selenagomez."

This person commended the 30-year-old for always being up to date on rumors about herself and defending them, adding, "Selena Gomez being up to date on all the rumors involving her and posting shit to prove the rumors to be wrong is why I love Selena Gomez."

Only some first meetings have to go well, and sometimes it is not always love at first sight, it might be an annoyance or just a plain lack of vibes. Although they were spotted on a bowling date in New York City, The Blast shared that the presumed couple did not always like each other. 

The 33-year-old hinted on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast that they were having a lot of fun together. The EDM artist admitted to Alex Cooper that he is in a relationship and had been for a couple of months while noting that at first, there was "ZERO VIBES" after they first met.  

He explained how they met, saying, "We got set up on a date a year ago, and it was the WORST date either of us had ever been on. Yeah, it was like ZERO vibes, just missed connection, and we didn't see each other for, I think, six months after that." 

The award-winning musician went on to say that they kept running into each other last summer, and one conversation they had to joke about was the initial bad date. He concluded by saying, "we like hit it off on the Fourth of July and started hanging out and then started dating in, like, September, I guess."
