Salma Hayek Dons Blue But Instagram Sees Red Because Elections

Actress Salma Hayek recently posted a throwback picture of her wearing blue, in hopes that America's luck may change for the better, or rather, for the blue. 

This comes after a recent post she put up, wearing red. She did give an explanation as to why she wore red but it seems Hayek wants to make her inclination, voting and her hopes for the outcome very clear. 

For Hayek, it's blue, and this is making many of her Instagram fans and followers see red. But then again, Hollywood has always been blue, right?

Just a day back, Salma posted this picture of hers wearing a red blazer with black pants with the caption, "I am wearing black and red because I am on my way to watch Stade Rennais against Chelsea in the Champions League. I hope it brings us good luck!"

To this, a fan replied, "And I’m wearing blue today. #BlueWave"

Others had even more election-oriented stuff to say to Salma, writing, "You look just like Kamala Harris in this pic".

To make her political leanings crispy clear, Salma then posted another picture of hers, this time a throwback of hers in a gorgeous blue gown. 

Wrote Salma, "Today I was inspired to find a #tbt where I was wearing blue. I hope this time it’s good luck. ?"

While some fans saw red and told her, "No, just no", others loved her for being blue, writing, "Perhaps the most BEAUTIFUL member of TEAM BLUE ?".

Some fans were more subtle in their disapproval, commenting, "You would look better in RED ♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️".

Salma has chosen blue though...

Hayek also shared a picture of her holding the mail ballot and indicated that she had voted. 

Fans went at war on her Instagram page soon after with many of them asking her who she voted for and letting her know that they hoped it was Trump. 

Even the Biden/Harris fans were out there in full force, and hoping Salma voted Team Blue. 

Wrote one judicious fan, "Yes!!! Thank you for voting! We must affect change now, and voting is a crucial part of that!"

By the way, enamored fans can also vote for Salma as she shared a video where her movie "Like A Boss" has been nominated for the Comedy Movie Of The Year by E! People's Choice Awards. 

Plus Hayek herself had been nominated for the Comedy Movie Star Of 2020 Award, and she seemed thrilled to bits. 

Fans congratulated her and told her she deserved to win with comments like, "I really love this movie!❤️?I watched it like a million time?❤️?I even know some lines in it? Good luck! @salmahayek ??"
