Brandi Glanville wasted no time on jumping on the breaking news of her "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" co-star Erika Jayne filing for divorce and is using her platform to line her pockets by pushing around the headlines of Erika Jayne's failed marriage. The move for Brandi to seemingly take a shot at Erika in such a vulnerable time is interesting, seeing as the embattled former full-time "Housewives" star has been trying to work her way back onto the show following a controversial season for the "RHOBH" crew.
As The Blast first reported, "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" fan-favorite Erika Jayne Girardi filed for divorce on Tuesday from her longtime husband, powerhouse attorney Tom Girardi. The court filing sent shockwaves through the reality star world, and Brandi Glanville clearly saw it as a great chance for her to capitalize.
Within moments of the news breaking, Glanville posted a photo of Erika Jayne and her husband to her Instagram feed along with a link to a celebrity website writing about the divorce.

After The Blast posted about Brandi Glanville cashing in on Erika Jayne's relationship drama, the reality star deleted her post (screenshot above) on Instagram and issued a statement about the situation.
"I took a Xanax earlier because of what’s going on in this world. I didn’t see the post on my IG about

until this eve & I deleted it the second I saw it," Glanville wrote on Twitter.
She added, "As I’ve said in the past o lease my social media out. I in no way would’ve been that insensitive."

Many reality stars have resorted to earning money by allowing websites to link out on their pages, but Brandi jumping on the train so early of steamrolling one of the main stars on "RHOBH" may become a controversial issue. Glanville may have sensed there could be trouble brewing by possibly exploiting Erika Jayne's breakup, so she disabled the comments on her IG post when it went live.
On an emotional level, Glanville at least included a brokenhearted emoji with her post, so maybe she does feel a little bad.
Bravo
49-year-old Erika Jayne filed to divorce 81-year-old Tom Girardi after more than 21 years of marriage. In a statement on the breakup, the "RHOBH" star said:
"After much consideration, I have decided to end my marriage to Tom Girardi. This is not a step taken lightly or easily. I have great love and respect for Tom and for our years and the lives we built together."
Erika Jayne added, "It is my absolute wish to proceed through this process with respect and with the privacy that both Tom and I deserved. I request others to give us that privacy as well."
Although Brandi Glanville has been enjoying tormenting some of the current "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" stars, including Denise Richards ... it's unclear if she will get "Full Housewife" status by next season.
Glanville was able to make a return to the Bravo series by appearing last season as a friend of Kim Richards who quickly inserted herself into the storyline by revealing an alleged affair with Denise Richards. All hell broke loose and Richards ended up leaving the show.
Although Glanville has not been named as a series regular, many fans are looking for her to show up and kick up some drama in Beverly Hills.
