Earlier this week, O'Donnell shared her weight loss news in a simple TikTok video. "Good morning. I'm on my way to school to drop her off, and I needed to let you know I lost 10 pounds since Christmas," she said. "Ten pounds. I'm very happy."
Her quick video sharing her news had her fans and followers writing encouraging messages and asking questions in the comment section. "I need to hear your updates. I’m struggling with soda. Congrats!!," one person wrote. "You can’t drop a bomb like that and not tell us HOW???," another added.

Rosie O'Donnell Is Sharing What's Working For Her With Her Followers
Inquiring minds want to know! Since so many of her followers wanted to know what she's doing to see such a big change this soon into her journey, she shared what's been working for her in multiple videos on TikTok.
"Ok, like two months ago, my doctor put me on, not Ozempic, Mounjaro. I can't even really pronounce it, and Repatha," she explained in one video. "One I do every other week and one I do once a week."
She continued her video by saying she stopped drinking anything but water with some exceptions. "Now, I have had champagne once night that was a toast and some wine one night," she said. "So it's hasn't been 100 percent but I really stopped drinking like five or six diet Cokes a day. All I drink is water now, and I'm not eating sugar as much as I can."
O'Donnell explained that with these few changes, her appetite has decreased significantly. "It's probably the meds," she said. "And I'm trying to move more, so you know, all those things combined, that's what it is."
One follower took to the comments to explain her issue, saying, "I'm so addicted to diet coke," to which O'Donnell responded, "yes its tough." Another follower wrote, "You look great Rosie, it’s all about moderation & moving more👏👏👏👏." Many others added their experiences with Ozempic and Mounjaro. "Way to go Rosie! I take Mounjaro and am down 44 lbs since September 5," one person said. "I did ozempic for a month and it did amazing. But insurance won’t cover it so can’t afford out of pocket. But it did work," another added.
In another follow-up video, O'Donnell addressed a follower's comment - "Rosie you can see it in your face for real." "You know what's funny, I can't see it at all," she said. "Until I saw myself on 'The L Word,' the bowling episode, I was like, I had no idea my stomach was that big. Unless I see it in a picture, it's so weird."
One of O'Donnell's followers has the same issue. "In my mind I’m not as big as I actually am 🥺," she wrote to which O'Donnell commented back, "same I'm always shocked." Many others also wrote in the comments that they can relate.
"Soda Is The Enemy. Period."
In another follow-up video addressing follower comments, O'Donnell talked about what the real problem is - soda. "Yeah, soda is the enemy. Period. You gotta get rid of it," she responded to a follower's comment, "I need to hear your updates. I'm struggling with soda." She continued talking about how bad it is for you. "It causes obesity, literally. Diet or regular. In fact, my doctor said if you're gonna have one, have a regular, it's better than the other one."
