In her latest Instagram video, set to the tune of Aime Simone’s “As It Was,” the 2008 Olympic All-Around Champion shared a video that featured her standing on the steps of a pool. She has her long blonde hair braided back behind her as she stretches and warms up before adjusting the damp fabric of her swimsuit.

She is wearing a black-and-white asymmetrical swimsuit that features a black-and-white strap over one shoulder. The white fabric wraps around her chest while the black fabric hugs the lower half of her body, leaving a cut-out to show off the definition in her toned abs.

In the caption, Nastia wrote, “PSA: You ARE good enough. Other followers couldn’t help but wonder if the five-time Olympic medalist’s caption was a nod to her sudden exit from “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.”

During the episode that aired on January 11, she decided to leave the competition after her costars, most notably British-American former freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy, felt that she received special treatment during a task where she had to be submerged in a car underwater and hold her breath for twenty seconds.

The 2005 world champion on the balance beam had concerns that a previous injury would hamper her ability to complete the task and had someone sit in the chair next to her.

Nastia was able to complete the task on her own, but several of her costars griped about how long she took to get in the water, as well as receiving “special treatment” by having someone sit next to her.

It looks like all of the negative talk got to Nastia’s head, as she quickly decided that she didn’t “really” complete the task and decided to voluntarily withdraw from the show.

Fans were disappointed to see her leave, and, looking back, the 2005 world champion on the uneven bars said she wished she didn’t let their criticism impact her state of mind.

In an interview with E! News after her exit, Nastia admitted, “I definitely did let somebody’s words get to me,” adding, "I let someone else's thoughts about me dictate my worth and dictate the internal progress and the breakthroughs and that mental strength that I thought I had found and made to that point."

"I do believe that I did leave because my integrity was at stake and I don't take that lightly," she continued. "I didn't win the Olympics with special treatment and I didn't want to receive any special treatment. Now, I do realize I allowed my own perception of myself to be impacted by other people's words."

During the episode, the 2005 world champion on the balance beam said that she was pretty adamant that she didn’t want any help and wanted to participate in the task on her own terms.

Ultimately, though, she did accept a staff member sitting next to her in the vehicle as the water came rushing in. “I was pretty persistent on saying no because that’s not fair,” she said. “Nobody else got that.”

Although her costars harsh words caused her to leave the show, the 33-year-old athlete doesn’t hold any ill will against her costars. "That person didn't probably mean it in the moment," Nastia said, most likely referring to Gus.

"We were all laughing about no sleep and poor nutrition. I don't blame anybody for what they said. I just hold myself accountable for how I reacted to the words."

Now, of course, she does wonder what would have happened if she stayed on the show just a little bit longer. “After months of thinking about this, obviously, I think it's a lesson I've learned," she said. "We can't go back in time and we can't change anything."
