"Feliz Día de Los Muertos! Happy Day of the Dead!" Salma captioned the photos.

If you are not familiar with the holiday, "The Day of the Dead" is a holiday celebrated in Mexico and other Latin communities which is associated with the Catholic celebration of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day. In most cases, the holiday lasts several days where family and friends gather to pray and remember people from the past.

In most cases, the family constructs the "Ofrenda" where the place items on a ritual display. It can be quite large and elaborate, it usually includes sections for each individual person who has died, and items connected to them are placed on the altar.

"It makes me really happy to see you embrace your own culture. I remember when I was a little girl I looked up to you so much, and then I saw you get so upset when you went to Mexico & you were so rude towards people who just wanted to show you love. As an American with Mexican roots, it shattered me. Thank you for changing," a fan emotionally wrote.

As we reported, Salma has had quite the past few weeks after the wildfires spared her Napa Valley Winery, and she shared a thank you to the firefighters who put their life on the line to save the property.
