According to multiple reports, Cardi B filed legal documents in Georgia where the couple lives, asking a court to dismiss the divorce case she filed a few weeks ago.
Of course, the couple has publically reconciled and been seen together on several occasions including Cardi’s birthday party in Las Vegas. But, the ‘WAP’ rapper still needs to legally stop her divorce or the couple could still end up being divorced on paper.

As you know, this is the second time Cardi B has publically split with longtime beau Offset and then gotten back with him a short time later. The couple shares a young daughter, and the ‘WAP’ artist recently called him her ‘best friend.’
Interestingly, Cardi’s dismissal was filed ‘without prejudice’ — which legally means she is reserving the right to refile the divorce at a later date. In other words, Offset, you better stay on your best behavior!
We broke the story, Cardi B filed for divorce from her rapper husband back in September but didn’t specify what led her to the decision to end the marriage.
In fact, she defended him when rumors surfaced about possible infidelity. See Below.
After filing for divorce, Cardi spoke out during an Instagram Live session telling her followers that the reason for the marriage ending was NOT because Offset “got a girl pregnant.”
“People were just flooding me with … ‘Oh, Offset got a girl pregnant. And this is where the s–t came from. Ain’t that about a b—h,” she said.
Cardi continued, “That is why I be telling y’all to stop believing … what people be saying, these blogs are saying, especially blogs that have a certain type of hatred toward me.”
So Why File For Divorce?
Cardi B addressed another rumor which accused the ‘WAP’ rapper of filing for divorce for “attention.”
“I want to address another bulls–t that I heard,” said Cardi. She contiuned, “Another blogger claims that I am getting a divorce for attention. And it’s like, you think I’m going to pay a lawyer 20,000 f—ing dollars?”
It’s actually a good point, Cardi’s initial divorce filing and the subsequent dismissal will cost the star a pretty penny to make sure the situation gets cleaned up properly. At the time, she said the marriage was “irretrievably broken” and “there are no prospects for a reconciliation.”
Looks like that is not the case.
