Kelly Ripa is throwing shade right back at trolls who voiced concern over her weight. The 50-year-old star proved she's not giving the haters the time of day by highlighting her itty bitty waist on Monday's episode of "LIVE With Kelly and Ryan."
In a backstage clip, shared on the morning show's official Instagram page on Monday, the host made sure to show off her small frame by slapping on a belt while wearing a gorgeous but oversized yellow dress.
Kelly Ripa surprised "LIVE" viewers when she appeared on the stage in the surprising color. Looking like a vision in yellow, the star sported the flowing dress that hit just above her ankles. Covering up her attention-grabbing legs that sparked the weight concerns, Kelly Ripa showed haters no mercy.
Matching the yellow dress with a studded black belt with a bow, the "LIVE" host looked full of confidence despite body shamers coming for her just days ago.

After dropping the backstage footage showing the host in her yellow frock, "LIVE" viewers showed her nothing but love. "Kelly is glowing!" one fan said while leaving a love heart emoji. As The Blast reported, Kelly Ripa's weight collected unwanted attention when the host shared a leggy Halloween throwback showing her dressed in a skin-tight Wonder Woman costume from 2017.
Going completely pantless and sporting itty bitty briefs, Kelly Ripa proved she's got legs for days despite her 5'3" frame but not everyone was on board with the superhero costume. Many felt she looked "too skinny" in her comic book Halloween garb.
Followers immediately began addressing her body. "Kelly you are adorable but I know one day we will read about your battle with food," one person commented on the Wonder Woman TBT. "You look too skinny. Eat something," instructed another.
Despite the negative backlash, Kelly Ripa's Wonder Woman costume collected over 22k likes. The "LIVE" host seemed to hit back at the body shamers just one day later by throwing even MORE throwbacks! Dropping several old photos with her family, Kelly Ripa even showed herself in a bikini to celebrate her father-in-law's birthday.
Showing the haters can't get her down, Kelly Ripa moved on from the weight talk and spent time with her children over the weekend, including making sure her daughter, Lola, voted for the very first time!
