Late Wrestler Jay Briscoe's Two Daughters Were 'Severely' Injured In Fatal Car Crash

Fresh reports have revealed that Jay Briscoe was not alone in the car during the car accident that ended his life.
Delaware State Police disclosed that the late wrestler was driving with his two daughters, Gracie and Jayleigh, when another vehicle crashed into him in Laurel, Delaware.
The 9 and 12-year-old girls are currently in the hospital receiving treatment. However, Briscoe's wife, Ashley Pugh, noted in a Facebook post that Gracie was still in critical condition and had to undergo back surgery.
Fans of Briscoe have sent in their condolence messages to honor the wrestler.

Jay Briscoe's Young Daughters Were Involved In The Accident
According to TMZ, Briscoe's two daughters, Gracie and Jayleigh, were with him when his vehicle was involved in a catastrophic car accident in Laurel, Delaware.
The publication noted a report from the Delaware State Police that revealed that a 27-year-old woman, Lillyanne Ternahan, caused the crash after veering off her lane to collide with Briscoe's vehicle.
While Briscoe and Ternahan died on the scene, his 9-year-old and 12-year-old daughters were rushed to a nearby hospital.
The duo is currently receiving treatment for their injuries sustained in the crash. It is unclear where Briscoe and his daughter were heading prior to the accident that took the wrestler's life.
DSP is also still looking into the cause of the crash and has yet to confirm whether one of the drivers was inebriated or a case of vehicle malfunction.
Jay Briscoe's Wife Ashley Pugh Ask Fans To Pray For Her Daughters
Following the accident, Briscoe's wife, Pugh, has revealed that Gracie's condition is more critical and that she is yet to be out of the danger zone.
"Gracie is on her way into surgery on her back," Pugh said in a Facebook post on Wednesday morning to solicit prayers from fans of the wrestler.
She added, "Jamin would want the whole world praying for his little girl. WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER!! Pray for the doctors and everyone working on her! Pray for her precious legs to move again,"
The mother of four also disclosed that Jayleigh is currently stable, although her injuries were also severe. "Pray for Jayleigh, who has some pretty serious injuries, but is stable and resting! Pray for strength for all of us," she said. "We have a long, long road ahead of us!"
'He Was A Star'
Briscoe's passing was announced to the world by All Elite Wrestling (AEW) founder Tony Khan shortly after it was confirmed.
"Sadly, Jamin Pugh has passed away. Known to fans as Jay Briscoe, he was a star in ROH for over 20 years, from the first show until today," Khan wrote in a post, per People.
The Ring of Honour owner also praised the pro wrestler and his brother Mark for their exploits in the wrestling enterprise.
He added, "Jay and his brother Mark dominated ROH, reigning as champions to this day. We'll do whatever we can to support his family. Rest In Peace, Jamin"
Jay Briscoe's Wrestling Colleagues Pour In Condolence Messages
Briscoe's death cut deeply into the hearts of fans and his colleagues in the wrestling industry.
Wrestler Sami Zayn, who is friends with the late father of four and his brother, shared his pain about Briscoe's death in an emotional post on Twitter.
The WWE star noted, "I don't have the words right now to properly convey my sorrow. I love Jay & Mark Briscoe. I'm very lucky to have shared the ring & shared so many laughs with Jay Briscoe, and I'm so sad to know neither will happen again. RIP my friend."
