Lisa Marie Presley's Ex-Husband Pleaded With 9-1-1 Dispatch Before Her Death

Lisa Marie Presley’s housekeeper and ex-husband made a frenzied call to 9-1-1 moments before she went into cardiac arrest.
In newly released audio, Lisa Marie’s housekeeper can be heard speaking to a 9-1-1 dispatcher prior to her death.
Her housekeeper appears to have an accent and was getting confused by the dispatcher’s questions. This in turn made the dispatcher struggle with understanding her.

“What’s the address of your emergency?” the operator asked.
The housekeeper explains the street Lisa Marie’s house is on, but the dispatcher was asking about the closest corner street.
After a few moments of back-and-forth, the dispatcher asked the housekeeper to pass the phone over to a male he heard in the background.
The man at Lisa Marie’s house is reportedly her ex-husband, Danny Keough.

Once Keough gets a handle on the phone, he pleaded with the 9-1-1 dispatcher, “How close are they? How far are they?”
Before the audio is cut off, Keough said, “I think they’re here.”
Lisa Marie went into cardiac arrest at her Calabasas home on January 12th. Keough performed CPR on her until paramedics arrived on the scene.
They took over and continued to perform CPR and administered epinephrine. They were able to get a pulse.
She was rushed to the West Hills Hospital and Medical Center where she was placed on life support. Sadly, the medical efforts weren’t enough to save her and Lisa Marie later passed away at the hospital.
Her mother, Priscilla Presley, confirmed LMP’s death in a statement obtained by the Associated Press.
“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” she said. “She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”
Lisa Marie’s official cause of death has not been revealed.
CNN confirmed her death was deferred by the L.A. County Coroner.

“Presley was examined on Jan. 14 and the cause of death was deferred. Deferred means that after an autopsy, a cause of death has not been determined and the medical examiner is requesting more investigation into the death, including additional studies. Once the tests/studies come back, the doctor evaluates the case again and makes the cause of death determination,” Sarah Ardalani, a spokesperson with the LA County Dept. of Medical Examiner-Coroner told the outlet.
Her grave is currently being prepared at Graceland across from her father’s grave and next to her son, Benjamin Keough’s grave.
Elvis Presley died in 1977 after suffering cardiac and her son tragically committed suicide in 2020.
According to reports, her burial site is being excavated and she will be laid to rest this weekend.
Graceland sources told TMZ that preparations are currently underway at the Memphis compound where Elvis, Priscilla and Lisa Marie once lived.
A celebration of life ceremony is expected for Sunday, January 22nd.
Work on the memorial site began Tuesday, January 17th and additional accommodations are being made.
There’s reportedly a stage with a backdrop on Graceland’s front lawn.
Her celebration of life ceremony will be open to the public.
