Kelly Ripa is showing off her “chips off the old block” – the talk show queen isn’t the only member of her family to have voted in the upcoming elections, with Friday seeing the 50-year-old prove the kids are at it, too. Kelly’s 2.9 million Instagram followers got rainy, but confident snaps today as the “Live! With Kelly and Ryan” host showed off daughter Lola and son Michael having voted – the star’s 17-year-old Joaquin is still too young. Check out the photos below.

The photos opened with 19-year-old daughter Lola under an umbrella and in a face mask. The stunning teen and aspiring singer, wearing an “I VOTED” sticker, then appeared with her mom under the umbrella, with the images sandwiched by proud voter son Michael.
There’s a first time for everyone. Lola, who turned 19 in June and is a student at prestigious NYU college, was looking stunning despite the face covering – the beauty is known for being cautious on Instagram, having wiped the feed clean this year following her “disgusted” reveal at mom Kelly’s thirst trap photos of husband Mark Consuelos.
Kelly’s caption, shouting out voting and her kids, opened: “Couple of chips off the ol’ block ?????? #iamavoter (Lola’s first election!) Michael and i voted a couple of days ago, but had to grab a pic of @theyoungestyung ♥️?? “
Kelly, who has since swooped into her own comments section, has been answering fan questions – basically, how long does a girl have to wait in pouring rain to cast a ballot.
“How long did you guys wait?” one fan wrote, adding that their daughter, living in Harlem, waited 2.5 hours. For “All My Children” alum Kelly and her brood, though, it was very mixed. Clearly, girls don’t luck out.
“Michael waited three hours. I waited an hour and Lola went at the right time was in and out in two minutes.”
Kelly didn’t half bring the comments in today. The star, whose entire family fronted People magazine’s first ever Family Issue this summer, was quickly reminded she’s got a “family of champions” by one adoring fan – “Great job!” another said.
Kelly and 1996-married husband Mark, wed for over 24 years, are parents to 23-year-old Michael, 19-year-old Lola, and 17-year-old Joaquin. Kelly recently celebrated her 50th birthday by peeking the luxurious interiors of her $27 million NYC townhouse, but 49-year-old husband Mark missed it – he’s out in Vancouver shooting CW series “Riverdale.”
