Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin has zero regrets as she admits that 30 "wasn't so bad after all." The 5-time Olympic medalist will turn 31 tomorrow, with her 1 million Instagram followers today getting the Russian-born star looking back at it. Nastia, whose sculpted rear has been dubbed her "Gold Medal Butt" had hers on show as she posed lakeside with dog Harley, with today seeing Liukin take a step back from talking about brands or fitness – it's all about welcoming her birthday tomorrow. Check it out below.

Scroll for the photos. They come as Nastia alerted fans to her "birthday week" with outstretched arms recently – and the 2008 all-around Olympic medalist hasn't had it easy, with a giant anorexia clap-back making major headlines.

Today's shots showed Nastia and her adorable pooch enjoying a lakeside moment on decking and backed by calm waters. The blonde was looking gorgeous in a ribbed, white spandex sports bra and tight leggings, also rocking her signature beanie hat, plus dark shades. The caption reflected on 2020 – not a year anyone would rank highly.

Keep scrolling for the photos. Nastia, snapped full-length in some images and showing her steely-sculpted legs, took to her caption to shout 30 goodbye.

"Year thirty wasn’t so bad after all :)," she wrote. A like quickly came in from 23-year-old gymnast Simone Biles, with fans filling the comments section.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY NASTIA!!!! ??? You look like 21!!! ??????," one wrote – Nastia retired from professional gymnastics aged just 22 back in 2012, although the beauty blogging side-gig seems to be paying off on the youthful-looking front.

It's been just over a week since Nastia decided to go public with a fan DM she said both "triggered" her and left her "pissed." The gymnast was asked how she feels about "promoting borderline anorexia looking bodies," then taking to Instagram to shut down the skinny-shamers – and she was totally open in admitting she's always been "thin." But there was a limit, as Nastia wrote:

"If taking pictures of my OWN body—a body that won me many olympics medals, a body that I push each day to get stronger, a body that God gave me—is inherently promoting anorexia, then honestly, we’ve gotten to a place in the world where just BEING is offensive. "

Nastia got super-busy on Instagram yesterday, taking to her Q&A to answer everything from questions about her take on household chores and her relationship status (the engagement to former hockey player Matt Lombardi didn't last), to her favorite Dallas, TX dining spots.

Nastia, cautiously choosing to opt out of disclosing her relationship status, did, however, confirm she loves changing bedsheets, she'll wolf down donuts, sushi, Mexican, and Italian, plus a reveal that might surprise fans. Despite the hyper-extended legs and ripped muscles, Nastia lacks the "motivation" to workout every day.
