Kelly Ripa Hits Back At Weight Shamers With MORE Throwbacks

Kelly Ripa isn't letting haters get in the way of celebrating her favorite father-in-law! Just one day after getting slammed about her weight when she posted a Halloween throwback in a skimpy Wonder Woman costume, the "LIVE With Kelly and Ryan" host proved that life must go on.
Taking to her social media on Thursday, October 29, Kelly Ripa ignored all the savage weight shamers to wish her hunky husband Mark Consuelos' dad a very happy birthday with a touching tribute.
Putting the negativity out of her head, the star hit back at haters by sharing several personal family pictures over the years. Many of them were throwbacks that showed Mark Consuelos' dad with their three children -- Michael, 23, Lola, 19, and Joaquin, 17. Some even included her "Riverdale" star husband when he was a little boy.
Matching the intimate shots with equally heartfelt words, Kelly Ripa proved that family is all you need.

"Happy birthday to the man they call Nonno. The only time I’ve seen my father in law without a baby in his arms is when they weren’t born yet," she captioned the adorable throwbacks before writing, "I love you dad. ♥️? ????."
Kelly Ripa immediately collected support and love on the pictures of her father-in-law, even from the one family member that despises having her on social media, her daughter Lola Consuelos. The "LIVE" host's college-age spawn dropped two cute comments on her mama's tribute.
"The sixth photo is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen everyone is so chunky," Lola Consuelos wrote before writing a separate comment that read, "The best nonno❤️❤️❤️? so much love." Mark Consuleos got in on the action too. The actor replied with two black love hearts under his wife's post.
As The Blast reported, Kelly Ripa collected a lot of attention when she dropped a pantless Halloween throwback on Wednesday but not everyone was impressed with the star's leggy Wonder Woman costume.
Followers began commenting with concerns about her weight. "Kelly you are adorable but I know one day we will read about your battle with food," one person commented on the Wonder Woman TBT. "You look too skinny. Eat something," instructed another. The photo, which was taken in 2017 during a Halloween extravaganza, didn't only get negative backlash. Kelly Ripa actually collected almost 20k likes on it.
