Dionne Warwick is celebrating a major musical win!
With a career that she began at age six, Warwick earned herself a rep as one of the 40 biggest United States hitmakers between 1955 and 1999. She also ranks #74 on the Billboard Hot 100's "Greatest Artists of all time," having sold over a hundred million records globally and winning several awards, including one American Music Award, one Billboard Music Award, and six Grammy Awards. However, those accomplishments have done nothing to slow down the singer, who is partnering with Dolly Parton for a new single.

If there is one thing that people have proven to Warwick throughout her career, it is that they love her and are excited about whatever project she puts out. The 82-year-old shared the news in a video that showed her wearing a pair of trendy dark glasses, a black beanie hat, a matching graphic t-shirt, and a cross necklace. Warwick kicked off the Twitter clip by telling viewers that she was a "little tired but okay" after her trip to Los Angeles, where she had gone to do her part for "Peace Like A River."
"We're very excited that I'll have a date for release very, very soon. So, keep your eyes and ears open. Me and Dolly are just over the moon about it," the "I'll Never Love This Way Again" singer told fans.

Dionne Warwick Leads In New TikTok Collaboration With The United Nations
The Blast shared in a May 2022 report that Warwick's music had transcended the pop scene into becoming a force in the "TheWorldNeeds" global hashtag challenge — a joint effort from TikTok and the U.N. Refugee Agency, UNHCR.
Both parties furnished their respective bases with news of a new musical campaign promoting unity and solidarity among refugees across the globe. The #TheWorldNeeds Challenge would include a series of TikTok Live concerts from its debut until Saturday, May 7.
The agencies added that the TikTok community would use Warwick's hit song, "What the World Needs Now (Is Love)" — initially released in 1965 by Jackie DeShannon — to make videos supporting the cause.
Accepting to be the center of the campaign was no challenge for the singer, who previously served as part of the UNHCR's World Stars Festival. The mother-of-two released a statement highlighting the rapidly increased number of refugees worldwide compared to the number of refugees present when she supported the 1968 Festival. The "No Night So Long" hitmaker wrote in parts:
"There has never been a more important time to stand in solidarity and show support for people around the world who have been forced to flee from their homes."
TikTok has a dedicated information page with details on supporting and donating to the UNHCR.
