Aaron Carter’s cause of death still remains a mystery
Initial reports claimed he drowned in his bathtub, but his family and ex-fiancée are now rejecting that idea.
There’s evidence to prove drowning was NOT his cause of death.
No Water Was Found In Aaron Carter's Lungs After His Death
Jane Carter and Melanie Martin believe their loved one died from a possible drug overdose.
They are still waiting for the coroner’s toxicology report to come back in order to determine what was in Carter’s system when he died.
According to reports, Jane and Martin were told by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office that there was no water found in Carter’s lungs.
This is evidence that proves drowning was not a potential cause of death.
Aaron's Mother Believes He Died From A Drug Overdose
The late-singer’s mother wants law enforcement officials to open an investigation into a possible drug deal that went down the night of his death.
TMZ first reported on Carter’s death in November 2022. It is believed he died on November 5, 2022, and his body was discovered in his tub by his housekeeper.
Law enforcement claimed his body was in the tub for a long time given the unnatural color of the water and smell of decomposition.
The outlet was told the tub’s jets were still running when Carter’s body was found.
Carter was only 34-years-old at the time of his death.
Melanie Martin Found Suspicious Text Messages On His Phone
His ex-fiancée has Carter’s phone and says she found text messages with an unidentified person telling Carter he owed $800 for an unknown substance.
Carter reportedly responded to the message saying he didn’t need the substance anymore; however, the mystery person on the other end insisted he still owed the $800.
Martin met with investigators last week and revealed Carter asked if he was being threatened. The conversation ended there.
His family has an inkling that Carter may have met with the person he was texting prior to his death, and are fearful the substance he may have taken is what killed him.
At the time of Carter’s death, multiple cans of compressed air and prescription pills were found scattered across his bathroom and bedroom.
A Friend Warned Police Of Carter's Huffing & Drug Abuse Before Death
The “I Want Candy” singer had a history of huffing compressed air.
A TikTok video revealed a phone call between someone who knew Carter and 9-1-1. The female caller was worried about Carter huffing before his untimely death, and even warned he was on the “verge of death.”
The TikTok audio was shared by user AUNTIE_OK last year.
The clip features an anonymous woman speaking to emergency dispatchers reportedly made three days prior to his body being discovered by his housekeeper.
“I was just calling to see if there’s anyway you guys could send an officer to go check in on him. The thing is, he’s a very heavy drug user and he’s inhaling computer duster and he was doing it all night,” a female told dispatchers. “They got into a huge fight and she ended up leaving.”
The male dispatcher tells the concerned woman, “Yeah, she actually called in earlier and stated that she was going to go check up on him and call back. I don’t believe she ever did.”
It’s believed the woman they’re referring to on the phone call is Martin.
“Has Aaron made statements since you last spoke to him about potentially hurting himself or committing suicide or anything,” the dispatcher asked.
“He hasn’t made statements about hurting himself, but he’s made statements about like hurting other people,” the female caller responded. “Another thing to, just to note, he’s been abusing his animals and she has videos of it. So, I don’t know if that would help either. He’s very, very, very ill. He is on the verge of death.”
The worried friend even warned the dispatcher that the next time police/law enforcement officials are sent out to his house that he could be dead.
