Alexandra Daddario clocked herself half a million likes in under 20 minutes today – what the "True Detective" actress gets for ditching her bikini top. The 34-year-old, known for her nude scene in the TV drama, wasn't quite nude in her Monday Instagram update, but she was very nearly there. Alexandra, followed by 17.6 million and gaining over 100,000 followers this month, kicked off the week to a stripey swimwear start, also letting fans know what came before the balcony moment. Check it out below.

Scroll for the photo. It comes as Alexandra gears up to shoot a quarantine-themed movie, with the actress herself admitting that shooting it was "surreal" during COVID.

Daddario's photo showed her sizzling and fully topless while on an outdoor balcony overlooking semi-cloudy skies. The "Baywatch" star, clutching her chest while in profile – sorry, guys, it wasn't all on show – was flaunting her backside in a fun, magenta, white, and blue-striped pair of bikini bottoms while shooting the camera a slightly cheeky gaze. "Post-snorkeling" was the caption.

"It's night time in India," they wrote, adding: "Please avoid these kinds of photos" with a cry-face emoji.

Others, meanwhile, referenced Alexandra having taken it all off in "True Detective," with one fan writing: "We already saw them, don't need to hide them lol."

Alexandra, now starring in "Lost Girls & Love Hotels," has opened up on the sex scene that saw her bare all.

In 2014, Daddario spoke with MTV, saying: "I think one thing about this role for me was that it was a huge challenge for me, and I saw it as a good challenge. I saw it as an interesting challenge."

"I really wanted to be part of the show, and I understood why the nudity and all of that was required of the character... The character is really different from anything that I've done before. The nudity was just part of that," she added. More below.

Next up for Alexandra is "Songbird," a movie set two years in the future and amid a virus even more deadly than COVID-19. The flick also co-stars Demi Moore and Craig Robinson. Speaking to People, Alexandra admitted that shooting amid an actual pandemic was just a little creepy.

"It was very surreal," she said. "I think all of us can say that this period of time is so surreal anyway and then going into a workplace that is just now so different, where you have a line of people getting tests — it definitely feels really surreal."
