Drake celebrated his 34th birthday with a massive celebration with friends in Los Angeles.
Over the weekend, a ton of footage from the "Life Is Good" rapper's party hit social media. The over-the-top party went down at a private club in L.A., where everyone was dressed to the nines to show off for Drake.
The rapper showed up to the party with a flashy diamond chain that featured the OVO owl logo. He looked to be having the time of his life.
The private event had a fancy dinner menu for guests. The food included appetizers of fried. calamari, a sushi platter, caesar salad, and a baby kale salad.
The main dish choices included chicken bolognese, steak frites, grilled shrimp, grilled cauliflower with sun-dried tomatoes and parsley, or mac n cheese.
Many fans have something to say about the mac n cheese having raisins included in it. One fan wrote, "Drake could have any meal in the world, but raisins IN mac & cheese lands on the birthday menu. ?."
The party didn't stop with the gigantic shin-dig. The following day, Drake hit up Nobu in Malibu to have a little seafood on the beach.
The rapper arrived in a chauffeured SUV wearing an oversized camouflage jacket with a black protective mask. Daily Mail posted photos of him arriving at the trendy hot spot with a bunch of his friends.
Drake didn't appear to be too hungover from the night before. It's unclear if he had any mac n cheese at Nobu.
On Sunday, Drake released a teaser for his upcoming project on Instagram. He shared a video that revealed his new album "Certified Lover Boy" which will be released in January 2021.
In the clip, Drake recreates the album cover for his 2nd studio album Take Care, which was released in 2011.
In another photo, Drake holds an owl on his arm. He captioned the photo, "As wise as the old owl but still the gold child. Thank you for all your love and well wishes."
As The Blast previously reported, despite his birthday celebrations, Drake is still in the middle of a nasty court battle.
A man named Bennett Sipes is suing Drake, Odell Beckham Jr., and Kourtney Kardashian's ex-boyfriend Younes Bendjima. The suit accuses the defendants of playing a role in an alleged assault that occurred inside a Hollywood nightclub.
Drake has denied all allegations of wrongdoing. He has pointed to security footage which he claims shows he was not involved in the altercation whatsoever. The case is ongoing.
