Wendy Williams caused major concern over the weekend after fans were shocked by her condition on Friday’s show, and now the DJ formerly featured on the daytime show is breaking his silence on the situation.
DJ Boof, who starred on the show for many years, appeared to confirm there are issues with the talk show host after answering questions from concerned fans on Instagram.
The DJ’s comments come on the heels of Williams sparking major concerns after she appeared to struggle to make it through her talk show on Friday afternoon.
In the show, she was speaking slowly and slurred her words during the show’s ‘Hot Topics.’

According to reports, during the show, Wendy seemed to be fine until the ‘Hot Topics’ session where fans pointed out she was slurring, forgetting names, and appearing a bit ‘glazed over.’
“Wendy, please take care of yourself… It was honestly hard to watch you today. I look forward to watching you in a better light Monday,” a fan posted.
Another added, “‘What’s going on w Wendy. The chatter is that something is going on. There’s been a change. You can tell that the content of the show has been changed somewhat to take some of the weight off Wendy. From this side of the screen, it looks like something is going on with her health / personal life…now I have a hard time sitting through an entire episode.”
DJ Boof Weighs In…
After one fan of the show posted the following comment, Boof jumped into the conversation seemingly to confirm something is very wrong. “Wendy you need to stop your show and seriously get help, your camp is just watching you spiral instead of sending help — shame on them”, another added that she “doesn’t listen” and “that’s probably why DJ Bouf [Boof] left,” the person said.
DJ Boof responded to the statement, saying, “Yup exactly and it will all come out,”
He continued, “Y’all have no idea what’s really going on and everyone there is afraid to speak up because they don’t wanna lose their jobs. This is going to play out bad.”
How Bad Is It?
As you know, Wendy has previously admitted to cocaine and alcohol addiction and addressed concerns about similar issues during her show.
At the time, Williams was clear the slurred speech was NOT because of hard drugs or addiction issues after announcing that she had Graves’ disease, which “leads to the overproduction of thyroid hormones and can cause wide-ranging symptoms and affect overall health.”
As for Friday’s issues, Wendy has yet to address the situation, and she hasn’t responded to DJ Boof’s allegations. But, one thing is for sure, Williams is not one to hold her thoughts — so we expect to get some answers Monday!
