Iggy Azalea Confirms Playboi Carti Breakup

Iggy Azalea is no longer in a relationship with her baby daddy, Playboi Carti. The newly-crowned 30-year-old star revealed the breakup on her social media over the weekend. Taking to her Instagram Story, the "Dance Like Nobody's Watching" rapper made eyebrows raise when she posted a scathing message about loyalty without dropping names.
Fans immediately began wondering if Iggy Azalea was talking about her longtime rapper boyfriend. The two welcomed their first child together, son Onyx Carter, just six months ago.
On Friday, October 23 her Instagram Story read, “You Lost a Real 1." She then posted a follow-up that stated, "People take loyalty for granted [and] that's why I'd rather be alone." Rumors immediately began swirling that the "Fancy" rapper was no longer dating Playboi Carti. She confirmed this hours later.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Iggy Azalea erased the previous messages and announced their breakup. She added that she's a single mom and would be raising their son alone.

"What I meant last night was I'm raising my son alone & I'm not in a relationship," the Australian-born rapper told her fans. This marks the end of the former couple's two-year relationship. Iggy Azalea gave birth to their son in April and no one even knew she was pregnant.
The star confirmed the baby rumors months later, making it clear that she was not keeping their child a secret and revealing she wasn't ready to share him with the world.
"I have a son," Iggy Azalea posted to her Instagram Story at the time. "I kept waiting for the right time to say something but it feels like the more time passes the more I realize I’m always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world. I want to keep his life private but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret and I love him beyond words."
Prior to their son's birth, Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti faced a series of split rumors but put those to bed with her secret pregnancy.
Iggy Azalea did not disclose when their relationship came to a halt but she has been living her best life over the past several months. Putting her killer post-baby body on display almost every single day, the rapper often makes fans melt by serving her snatched "baby waist" on a platter.
