Tristan Thompson Makes Mother's Funeral Star-Studded Event

Tristan Thompson has bid his final farewell to his mother, Andrea.

The NBA star laid his mother to rest with help from a plethora of his famous friends.

As we previously reported, Kim and Khloe Kardashian were in attendance along with their mother, Kris Jenner.

They took Kim’s $150 million private jet.

The funeral service was held on Saturday, January 15th at Last Days Pentecostal Ministries.

Khloe jetted to Toronto, Canada with Tristan on January 5th when his mother suffered a heart attack at her home and later passed away in the hospital.

Kim flew up a couple of days later to be with Koko and TT.

Jenner is the only member of the Kar-Jenner family to make a social media post about Tristan’s mother’s death.

It’s clear from her online tribute that Jenner and Andrea got along great and had a mutual love for one another.

“I am so heartbroken by the sudden passing of Tristan’s mom, Andrea. My thoughts, prayers and all of my love are with Tristan, Amari, Dishawn and Daniel. You were the most amazing, dedicated, devoted, and selfless mom and such a loving, kind, and fabulous grandmother,” she wrote on January 6th. “What a blessing you were to your family!!! I will miss you Andrea. I will miss your bright spirit and amazing light. Thank you for always praying for us and lifting us up and encouraging us along the way. Rest in peace beautiful angel 🙏❤️ @realtristan13.”

It’s been reported by PEOPLE that Jenner spoke during Andrea’s funeral.

Rapper Drake also attended the funeral.

“They all want to be there for Tristan,” the insider shared. “He will always be family. It’s a devastating situation for him. They want to do everything they can to support him.”

Per TMZ, Tristan paid for and planned the entire funeral service which was an intimate and beautiful celebration of life.

Sources tell the outlet that Khloe was very close with Andrea and losing her has been sad and shocking to everyone.

It’s unclear if the Good American co-founder brought her two children, whom she shares with Tristan, to the funeral.

From the looks of their social media accounts, the day after the funeral, Kim, Khloe and Kris were back in Los Angeles celebrating Chicago West’s fifth birthday.

Tristan has yet to comment on the “unexpected” passing of his mother.

He and Khloe have maintained a healthy and cohesive co-parenting relationship following the end of their romantic relationship.

The NBA player cheated on Khloe countless times over the course of their five-year relationship.

They welcomed their second child via surrogate during the summer.

Days before his paternity scandal with Maralee Nichols broke, Khloe and Tristan did an embryo transfer to their surrogate.

Khloe admits she wouldn’t have moved forward with another child had she known about the paternity scandal.
