'RHOC' Star Emily Simpson Says Elizabeth Vargas Is 'Bizarre And Eccentric'

Emily Simpson shared her thoughts on new "Real Housewives of Orange County" cast member Elizabeth Vargas during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight.

On the heels of the Bravo reality series' season 15 premiere earlier this month, Emily described her newest co-star as "bizarre and eccentric" before confirming that she meant that in a "good way."

"I even tell her that to her face. I’m like, ‘You’re so weird, but weird in an interesting way,’” Emily explained, according to a report from Reality Teaon October 22.

“Like, there’s a lot of layers to her. … I think she’s great on the show, because there’s so many different things that come up about her and she has a great personality,” Emily continued. 

After beginning production on the 15th season of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" with Elizabeth in February of this year, Emily discovered she was "very, very bubbly and friendly."

"And that comes off really well, I think, and she really makes an effort to be friends with everyone," Emily shared. 

While Elizabeth is "a lot" for her co-stars to handle at times, she appeared to have been well-received by the majority of her cast mates when she joined the Bravo series.

“I had fun with her … she was fun, but you know, we kind of had a little something, too," Shannon Beador said during her own interview with Entertainment Tonight. "She’s a very complex person and I’ll just leave it at that. There’s a lot of layers to peel off.”

Emily Simpson joined the cast of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" years ago for the series' 13th season. At the time, Gina Kirschenheiter also joined the show as a new cast member.

In the years since, Braunwyn Windham-Burke has also been added and former cast members Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge, who previously appeared on 14 and 12 seasons of the series, have moved on.

When Vicki quit in January, the newbies didn't shed tears as none of them had close friendships with her.

In recent weeks, Emily has been showcasing an impressive weight loss, which she saw after embarking on a regular fitness routine as well as a healthy diet. 

She also recently went under the knife to have her breast implants removed and is currently recovering from the surgery with the help of her husband, Shane.
