Lily James Reportedly Terrified When Affair With Dominic West Became Public

Celebrity drama seems to be inevitable these days. No matter how badly they would love to keep their personal lives away from the media, there always seems to be a slip-up that would make their stories and secrets leaked to the public.

Lily James recently faced a similar fate because photos of her displaying public affection toward Dominic West were recently released.

This was received with mixed feelings by her fans, with some secretly wishing they were a couple and others angry at what the photos were implying

Although there were alleged speculations of the duo being more than friends, it had never been backed with as much evidence as it got in the last few moments.

The “Cinderella” star and “The Affair” actor were seen cuddling it up and acting like a passionate couple in Rome’s hotel. Not surprisingly, there were also reports that both co-stars booked the same suite in the hotel and are staying in the same room.

Since they were spotted, both have denied claims of anything sexual happening between them. However, fans have been debating on these claims ever since.

Not long after her husband’s reports being all lovey-dovey with his co-star surfaced, his wife, Catherine Fitzgerald, spoke on the matter.

FitzGerald came out with her husband, West, and insisted that the images meant nothing and that they had no issues with it at all.

They released a letter they both wrote which said;

“Our marriage is strong, and we’re very much still together. Thank you.” She again added that this didn’t faze her, and all the issues have been settled with her husband. This did not seem to be entirely accurate to fans.

West’s wife showed no problems with the “Johnny English Strikes Again” star and further insisted that all was well in their marriage.

However, in contrast to that, reports revealed that she had shown dismay about the incident.

A source from the “US Weekly” said that although West and FitzGerald decided to show that they were both unaffected by the news, FitzGerald allegedly had a few heated arguments with her husband.

The source also said that ‘this incident has strained Lily and Dominic’s working and personal relationship too.’

James recently planned on releasing her new film titled “Rebecca,” but due to these circumstances, that may not be possible anymore.

She decided not to talk about the movie on any platform whatsoever after she canceled the appearances on the shows she was supposed to be a part of.

It's possible that recent events resulted in her canceling the appearances, but fans have their fingers crossed. Next up, she is supposed to appear on the “Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon. Hopefully, she will race the show with her presence.
