Just months before the third death remembrance of her late husband, Nick Cordero, Kloots has broken the news of her mother-in-law, Lesley's passing. Amanda Kloots Mourns The Loss Of Former Mother-In-Law

Although Kloots appeared to be on the road to fully heal from Nick's death, old wounds have been reopened following his mother's passing. The mother-of-one could barely hide her emotions as she announced the news with multiple photos of the matriarch, beginning with a solo shot of her wearing a green apron over a black outfit.

A swipe to the left showed Lesley posing with her daughter-in-law on the set of "The Talk" before beaming at the camera with her grandson — Elvis Eduardo — alongside her late son. Other snaps featured the late matriarch playing with Elvis, enjoying family dates, and twinning with Nick during a day out.

"My heart is broken to [sic] today. Nick's mother, my mother-in-law, Lesley Cordero, has passed away. Lesley and I got very close when Nick got sick. We were soldiers going to battle every day, fighting for the man we loved," she penned in the touching tribute.

Referring to Lesley as a "powerhouse, a woman of great strength and great advice," Kloots admitted that she "was a huge help to me as a fellow widow, understanding how to navigate this new life." The 40-year-old then described Lesley's "very close" relationship with her Nick, detailing that he "talked to her pretty much every day." She added:

"This one is hard for me. I don't know how to make sense of it, there actually isn't a way. It is not fair. This is when I absolutely hate death, loss and grief. My heart goes out to the Cordero family, literally the strongest family I know. I'm honored to know them, love them, and call them my brother and sister."

Before wrapping up the emotional tribute, the fitness instructor included a sentimental statement directed at her mother-in-law, "Mom, my hope is that you are with Nick and Eduardo now, wrapped in their arms. That you are at peace - healthy, happy, no longer in any pain or suffering."

"I will miss you tremendously. Thank you for loving me, taking me in as your daughter. Thank you for loving Elvis and being the best grandma. Rest in peace mom. I'll love you forever," she finished.

Famed actor Chazz Palminteri quickly responded in the comments, "There are no words to say Amanda... All I can say is... We send our love to you, Elvis and the Cordero family," while actress Olivia Munn penned, "Oh Amanda. I'm so so sorry."

A deeper look at the comments disclosed the personal relationship that Kloots' fans shared with Lesley. While one person mentioned how "kind" and "big-hearted" she was, another recounted meeting her in the hospital. The second commenter said meeting Lesley "was an absolute delight during such a dark and painful time."

The unfortunate incident comes six months after Nick's second death anniversary when Kloots declared July 5 his "new birth day." The Blast shared that the "Fit for Christmas" actress uploaded a montage of some unforgettable times she shared with Nick during their relationship.

Set to the tunes of Justin Bieber's "Ghost," the clip featured sights of the couple holding hands as they ice skates, locking lips on their wedding day, playing with Elvis, and Nick strumming the guitar.

The 'Bullets Over Broadway' Actress Talks About Dealing With Criticism Amid Dating

The Blast reported earlier this month that Kloots had dealt with some criticism after she decided to put herself out there again. The actress had addressed the situation when she joined Cheryl Burke for a "Diving Deep" conversation that dealt with her transition into dating after losing her husband.

Kloots said that even though it took her "a while to feel okay," she eventually put her "toe in the water" and went on dates with widowers. That move "helped immediately to break down the discomfort of 'I'm coming in with a lot of emotional baggage.' You don't have to explain yourself," as she explained. After revealing her impatience for "small talk" the "Dancing with the Stars" season 30 added:

"You know the criticism that came from 'Amanda Kloots is dating not even a year after Nick has died'? Well, I nipped it in the bud, and I was like, 'absolutely not.'"

To deal with it, Kloots began hosting honest and eye-opening conversations with other widows whose situations resonated with her on Instagram Live.
