Kelly Clarkson, now 37 pounds thinner than she once was, has been proving the appetite hasn't gone anywhere. The OG "American Idol" winner and talk show host is now the talk of the town after "The Kelly Clarkson Show" posted an Instagram video of the 37-year-old icing and then tasting her own massive layer cake – Kelly's appearance on her morning series came pretty dedicated to sweet treats, with her entire team seen decorating festive cakes. "LOOK, I PUT ICING ON MINE!" Kelly said. And this girl eats. Check it out below.

Scroll for the video. Kelly, right now gearing up for tonight's airing of "The Voice," was seen on the kitchen area of the set and showing off a multi-layered sponge cake which she hand-piped with decorative icing. The mom of two, flaunting her whittled-down waist as she wore a white floral-print dress and strategic blue apron, was seen egging her crew to go ahead:
"You've got taste yours. Go ahead, I dare you," Kelly said, then tasting hers and pretty much losing it – "OH MY GOD, IT'S SO GOOD!" she exclaimed.

Keep scrolling for the video, plus the weight loss details. Kelly had tagged Courtney Rich and Cake By Courtney for the props – Courtney also appeared showing her cookie butter filling cake. The singer is now being told she's an absolute hoot by fans, with some even wishing that the current pandemic restrictions could be waived, just so they can come see her live.
"COVID needs to go away so I can come to your show @kellyclarkson," one fan wrote. "I love you show Kelly, you are a hoot!!" another said. More after the video.

Kelly made headlines in 2018 for revealing she'd dropped 37 pounds. The blonde spoke to Hoda Kotb on "The Today Show," making it clear that her weight loss wasn't a vanity or dieting deal.
"I had an autoimmune disease and a thyroid problem that started in 2006," she said, adding: "I know the industry loves the weight gone, but for me, it wasn't really (about) the weight. For me, it was 'I'm not on my medicine any more.'"
In fact, Kelly's unusual approach even extends to her admittedly-hilarious attitude towards working out.

Kelly, who has recalled her "skinniest" time as her most "miserable," remains real when it comes to living in an industry hooked on SoulCycle and 5 a.m. yoga classes. In 2018, Kelly took to Twitter, writing:
"This just in. I still hate working out. I'm sweaty, red, and not any thinner."
"People say it's good for your heart.... but people also say red wine is good for your heart. I mean, I'm just stating facts here people. Who am I to ignore science?!"
