If you've been missing Adele, you don't have to wait around much longer. The award-winning singer is heading back to work for the first time since dropping 100 pounds. Taking to her social media over the weekend, the 32-year-old star made the exciting announcement that she'll be hitting the stage again but it's not for a world tour.
Adele made dreams come true by revealing she's coming across the pond to make a TV appearance as the host of "Saturday Night Live."
The London-born superstar announced her return to the stage by sharing the news on her Instagram. Posting the longtime running comedy show's signature colorful announcement, Adele showed her name on a mint green index card underneath the date of October 24.
Making it known that fans will get a dose of Adele in just one week, she clarified that she has a bigger job than just singing. The "Rolling In The Deep" singer will actually be the "SNL" host!

While many have been hoping that Adele reveals new music, the star will be showing off her comedy chops instead of her vocals. H.E.R. will be the musical guest when she hosts the show ahead of the Halloween weekend. "Bloooooody hellllll I’m so excited about this!! And also absolutely terrified!" Adele captioned the "SNL" reveal.
"My first ever hosting gig and for SNL of all things!!!!" the 15x Grammy winner laughed before making it clear that she's up for the challenge.
"I’ve always wanted to do it as a stand alone moment, so that I could roll up my sleeves and fully throw myself into it, but the time has never been right. But if there was ever a time for any of us to jump head first into the deep end with our eyes closed and hope for the best it’s 2020 right?" she added.
Expressing her love for H.E.R., Adele teased that she "can’t wait to melt into a flaming hot mess when she performs."
While fans are jumping up and down at the idea of seeing a thin-figured Adele, others dragged her in her comments after thinking her "SNL" announcement was actually a date for new music. "I THOUGHT THIS WAS THE ALBUM YOU ABSOLUTE TEASE," one person wrote. "How many people thought that she was dropping an album called HER on 10/24?? ??♂️??♂️??♂️," another commented.
Adele promised new music in 2020 and her loyal followers are STILL WAITING, some are clearly more patient than others.
