Adrienne Bailon Bought Pajamas Embroidered With Son's Name Before He Existed

Adrienne Bailon announced to the world just how strong her faith is! The mom of one revealed the extraordinary thing she did that most people might find difficult to practice.

Taking to Instagram, Bailon disclosed how she had planned out the name of her then-unborn child in the faith, believing that she would welcome him down the line.

As you may know, the TV personality has been very outspoken about her infertility issues before eventually welcoming her baby boy, Ever James, with her gospel singer husband, Israel Houghton, via surrogacy.

The former "The Real" co-host took a trip down memory lane and revealed how God came through for her when she needed him the most and hoped for a miracle.

Taking to her Instagram Story, she posted a picture of herself donning luxurious off-white and army green silk long-sleeve print pajamas. Bailon appeared to have been in a sitting position when she took the snap.

Focusing the camera on the part where the words "Ever" was embroidered on the material of the nightwear, she revealed the reason for posting the image, writing in her caption, "@oliviavonhalle  —ordered these pjs 2 years ago in faith… Xx."

The mama bear, however, initially posted a selfie flaunting herself, rocking her own PJs of the same set while enjoying the comfort of her bed. Happily smiling at the camera, she had on light makeup and let her brunette hair loose as she allowed her curly waves to cascade down her shoulders.

Captioning the post, she wrote in Spanish, "buenas noches" which translates to (good evening), before adding, "—back home in my pjs waiting for @everjames to wake up for his late feeding & cuddle with my boy."

The former "Cheetah Girls" star, who is now a proud mom, continues to serve as an inspiration to other women who are passing through the same challenges she experienced.

During an exclusive chat with Jennifer Hudson on her daytime talk show, "The Jennifer Hudson Show," Bailon spilled the tea on her tedious yet faith-filled journey to motherhood and how she birthed her son, Ever, via surrogacy.

Wearing two-piece blazer pants set, the "Coach Carter" actress was warmly received by the host, Hudson, who donned a rainbow knitted cardigan and styled her hair in a sleek high ponytail bun.

Proceeding with the show, Hudson began by congratulating Bailon on motherhood, to which the actress sweetly replied, saying, "thank you." Asking the actress to share her experience with the audience, Bailon revealed, saying, "It took me six years to have my son, and I think for such a long time it was like a quiet journey that I had just with myself."

She added that she didn't expect it to be hard for her to have a child, and noted,  saying, "I think women don't really talk about fertility issues, but if you bring it up at a table, everybody's gonna be like, girl me too! What you doing? What you doing"?

The TV personality further admitted that she fell into this category without even realizing it. Moving on, she disclosed that after six years of trying to conceive, including eight IVF cycles and multiple miscarriages, she only had one embryo left when doctors introduced surrogacy as an option.

Bailon confessed that although she didn't like the idea, she and her husband, Houghton, decided to give it a go, which eventually turned out to be a success and resulted in the birth of their son. Revealing that she helped birth her son, she said, "When I held my son – which I actually, I pulled him out myself – I put him right on me (and we did) skin-to-skin."

The "E! News" co-host had every reason to be grateful during the festive period as she celebrated Christmas in the company of her family and, most importantly, her precious son, Ever.

Per The Blast, the "Raven's Home" actress took to her Instagram page and shared a heartwarming video revealing the family all dressed in matching pajamas as they marked the Christmas celebration in style.

Bailon also used the opportunity to pay a sweet tribute to her son, using her voice as the background tune to the video. She said, "After six years of waiting on my Christmas miracle, here we are, in our new home, decorating, laughing, listening to new tradiciones while holding my baby boy." 

She further captioned the message, writing, "My Christmas Miracle ✨ @Everjames #HappilyEverHoughton."
