Britney Spears needed a break from “house cleaning” –if there’s a beach nearby, why not use it. The 38-year-old pop princess made major headlines ahead of the weekend for being photographed in public in her first outing since July, with the “Toxic” singer then taking to Instagram to show off her beach yoga. Britney, followed by 26.6 million, posted a video of her outing, also explaining the seemingly-tricky logistics of delivering a great Instagram video. The Grammy winner has now hit 1 million+ views for her post. Check it out below.
Scroll for the video. Britney, also in the news for a small win amid her conservatorship battles – she’s been allowed to expand her legal team – had posted 3 minutes and 13 seconds of beach footage. The blonde was seen solo on wet sands and amid lapping shores, also bikini-clad in blue and delivering some yoga moves. Spears famously vowed to do more “acro yoga” in 2020 as her New Year’s Resolution.
The caption, meanwhile, opened with roll-eye emoji and Spears saying this was her “much needed break from house cleaning. ” However, the casual footage wasn’t all it seemed.
Britney, also seen wading into the ocean and keeping COVID-safe in a face mask, continued:
“This took me two hours to film because I went to three different locations to find the best lighting …. but unfortunately it was a gray and hazy day … that’s why it looks this way ??? !!! I got home and was like CRAP ??? !!!! “
Britney, adding that the surfers looked “Like ants” and calling her day “MAGIC” a she went from frustrated to grateful, then apologized for yoga that isn’t perfect, also saying she herself will never be so.
Britney doesn’t come with a master’s in yoga, but the super-flexible star does know her Warrior II.
“Here’s to a day of MAGIC ????????? !!!! PS … I know my yoga is by no means done perfectly …. because I’m not perfect nor will I ever be !!!! Before you judge go try this for two hours !!!” she closed.
Britney’s fans, who have this year been deeming the singer’s Instagram a setup, have not backed down with their allegations as 68-year-old dad Jamie Spears continues to control his daughter’s finances.
FreeBritney was alive and well in the comments. Replies gaining hundreds of likes came as probing – “This is not Britney,” one fan wrote, with others saying the “break” from cleaning was “more like your prison.”
Britney, alleged by fans to not be controlling her Instagram, has very much proven that she is via clap-backs. In July, the singer called herself “authentic.” In September, she defended wearing “the same top 17 times” as she both confirmed posts aren’t more than a month old and outlined photography project “Project Rose.”
