Chadwick Boseman died without a will, and now his wife has filed probate in the L. A County Courts to handle his Million dollar estate.
According to new legal documents, obtained by The Blast, the 'Black Panther' star 'died intestate' meaning without a legal will, and now his wife -- Taylor Simone Ledward -- is asking a judge to make her executor of his estate.
As we reported, the award-winning actor died after a 4 year battle with colon cancer, and many of his fellow actors and fans had no idea he was sick.

According to the legal documents, Chadwick's estate is worth $939,000, which included 936,000 in "personal property."
The number seems surprisingly low, but it's possible this only accounts for the actor's real estate holdings and not the vast amount of income he recieved from blockbuster movies. It's possible much of his wealth is held in a trust and doesn't necessarily need to be included with the probate filing. But, it is odd that someone who was suffering from cancer for such a long time didn't have a will in place, in case he passed away.

In the documents, Chadwick only has three living relatives listed. His wife, along with his mother and father.
According to multiple reports, Boseman got engaged in October of 2019 and married Taylor Leward sometime afterward. The couple made their red-carpet debut at the 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards when many wondered who the beautiful woman was on his arm.
Boseman mentioned Ledward in his moving acceptance speech for Black Panther's Best Film Ensemble win, where he said, “Simone, you’re with me every day. I have to acknowledge you right now. Love you." At the time, the cameras caught her mouth back to the star, “I love you.”
