Lisa Marie Presley Dead Hours After Suffering Cardiac Arrest

Lisa Marie Presley has tragically passed away at the age of 54

She suffered cardiac arrest on Thursday, January 12th, at her Calabasas home.

LMP was rushed to the West Hills Hospital and Medical Center. Prior to her hospital transportation, emergency personnel performed CPR on her and administered epinephrine.

Family sources confirmed the death of Elvis Presley’s only child. She was pronounced dead at the L.A. area hospital where she was transported, according to reports.

"It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us," Priscilla confirmed in a statement to PEOPLE Thursday evening.

"She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment."

Only hours ago, The Blast reported that her condition wasn’t improving and she was in fact in “critical” condition.

LMP was put into an induced coma and given a temporary pacemaker according to reports.

Lisa Marie remained in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at West Hills Hospital and Medical Center. Her mother, Priscilla Presley, was spotted going to the hospital following the shocking and tragic news.

The 77-year-old was seen walking hurriedly into the hospital while talking to an unidentified male.

She wore an all-dark attire along with a black face mask.

Tragically, her father reportedly died from a heart attack at the age of 42-years-old in 1977.

He passed away at his Memphis, TN. mansion better known as “Graceland.”

Elvis had an addiction to prescription barbiturates, which seemingly contributed to his premature death.
