Shakira is no longer the “owner of a lonely heart.”
She’s shed the tears she needed to, and now she’s in full “She Wolf” mode!
The Colombian-native teamed up with Argentine hitmaker Bizarrap for her first single of the year, “BZRP Music Session #53.”
Shakira Goes All Out On Gerard Piqué On New Song!
Shakira really goes full bore on her cheating ex-partner, Gerard Piqué, in the song. She doesn’t say his name, but the lyrics paint a very clear picture of the retired FC Barcelona player.
She even makes takes a stab at his 23-year-old girlfriend, Clara Chia Martí.
The lyrics are in Spanish, but when translated to English they read, “Sorry baby I should have thrown you out a while ago. A she-wolf like me is not for rookies. A she-wolf like me is not for guys like you. For guys like you. I’m too good for you and that’s why you’re with someone just like you.”
Shakira Likens Herself To A "She Wolf"
Shakira has a 2009 song titled, “She Wolf.”
Ironically enough, Shakria wasn't the only one to rip Piqué a new one!
Commentsbycelebs Instagram account shared a post from IG account @notskinnbutnotfat, which featured a screenshot of Piqué's IG grid.
They captioned post, "Shakira, it's OK. You can do better."
Erin Foster commented on the post, "Truly nothing worse than falling for a guy and then learning he does this."
Social Media Trolls Gerard Piqué's Instagram Profile
This isn’t the first song where Shakira has hinted at her ex’s infidelity, shallowness and inability to me a loving partner.
“I’m not getting back with you, don’t cry for me, nor beg me. I understood that it’s not my fault that they criticize you. I only make music, sorry that it bothers you,” the lyrics continued.
Last year she released “Montonía,” which translates to “monotony” in English.

She captioned the video, “Nunca dije nada, pero me dolía. Yo sabía que esto pasaría,” which translates to, “I never said anything, but it hurt me. I knew this would happen.”
Her “BZRP Music Sessions #53” lyrics go on to directly call out her Spanish tax fraud situation, Piqué’s new, younger girlfriend and living next to her mother-in-law.
READ THE DAMNING LYRICS
You left me my mother in law as my neighbor
Media outlets at my door and in debt with the government
You thought you hurt me, but you made me stronger
Women don’t cry anymore, they cash in.
She has the name of a good person.
It’s clearly not what it sounds like
She has the name of a good person
She’s clearly the same as you
For guys like you
I’m too good for you and that’s why you’re with someone just like you
From love to hate there’s a step
Don’t come back here, pay attention to me
Zero grudge baby,
I wish you good luck with my supposed replacement
I don’t even know what happened to you
You’re so weird I can’t even recognize you
I’m worth two of 22 [year old]
You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo
You traded a Rolex for a Casio
You’re going fast, slow down
Lots of time at the gym, but your brain needs a little work too
Photos where they see me
I feel like a hostage
But all good with me
I’ll leave tomorrow and if you want to bring her over, she can come too
She has the name of a good person
It’s clearly not what it sounds like
She has the name of a good person
She’s clearly the same as you
For guys like you
I’m too good for you and that’s why you’re with someone just like you
The Spanish government is suing Shakira for tax evasion from 2012 to 2014. They claim she skipped out on paying the government $14 million.
They are seeking a penalty of up to eight-years in prison if she is found guilty.
Shakira has maintained her innocence since the lawsuit was filed last year.
