Demi Rose just got a giant reminder that luxurious tropical resorts don’t come with an anti-weather service. The 25-year-old model and social media sensation is currently in The Maldives with a bevy of gal pals, with a weekend Instagram story showing Demi and her girlfriend moving from one resort to another. Demi, followed by 14.8 million on her IG, posted what set out to be a simple journey – leaving the 5-star Cinnamon Velifushi resort and heading to another one. Check out the bikini ambush below.
Scroll for the bikinis and the storm. Demi, last week delivering jaw-dropping curve updates from the Velifushi, had initially posted in selfie mode for a quick bikini flash. The model’s insane cleavage was taken in as she blew her fans kisses, then taking them for a ride-a-long in a protected buggy for the big departure.
Speaking while bumping along in the buggy and wearing a tie-dye green bikini top and shades, Demi addressed her fans:
“So, we’re just leaving the Cinnamon now, on the way to our next resort. Yay.”

Demi’s next story showed a decidedly unglamorous finish to the resort hopping, with the Birmingham U.K. native filming her friend from under awnings and showing seriously torrential thunderstorms having caught them both.
“We were tanning a second ago, literally,” Demi was heard saying, adding: “WHAT THE….?” “WOAHHHH,” she added. Demi, who spends half her life soaked in pools, is likely totally fine with water. Still, not a pleasant surprise. Scroll for more photos.
Demi, who was bullied at school and still struggles to comprehend her popularity, has been lighting up Instagram with her sizzling silhouette all summer and into the fall. In late July, Demi ditched her London lock-down for a permanent move to Ibiza, Spain, where rocky oceanside updates included Demi’s $387 Care Bears string bikini, plus a dangerously-nude hot tub session.
Demi has also been opening up on more serious matters including mental health awareness. The model continues to grieve losing both parents just eight months apart, with mom Christine’s 2019 death following dad Barrie’s 2018 one.
Demi was body-shamed during her London lock-down, with a troll telling her she’d gained “weight” in quarantine. The stunner then opened up to ES, admitting:
“During lockdown I lived on my own in London and my mental health really did get the better of me.”
“I had up and down days and with so much time on my hands I obviously had a lot of time to reflect on things,” she added, then stating that the Ibiza move was the “best decision” she’d ever made. The Spanish island is, per Demi, the “perfect backdrop” for her modeling.
