Shannon Beador Gives Details On Brutal Breakup With John Janssen

Shannon Beador revealed that she and “Handsome” John Janssen have called it quits. The details are rough to hear but Shannon shared them anyway.

Starting things off, Beador shared that the breakup took place before Christmas, and she essentially spent New Year’s loveless. The 59-year-old dumped the reality star in November but it blindsided Beador, who often described Janssen as the love of her life.

“We were in a great place,” Beador told People magazine. “But seven days later, when the cameras were down, it was a completely different story. “He told me he was done with the relationship. And to hear what he said to me then was absolutely devastating.”

It sounds like John wanted to capture his last little bit of fame before dropping Beador like a bad habit.

The path that Shannon was taking with John was what all her followers and herself assumed would lead to marriage and her last one at that. “I was hopeful this was the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with,” she tells People.

Beador even tried to convince John to stick it out with her. “I wanted it to work out. I’ve never loved anyone like I’ve loved John. But clearly, he didn’t feel the same way.” Seeing as it was a secret, Shannon couldn’t have a public reaction and had to endure seeing John out and about mingling at the same places as her including two different USC games.

When the two ran into one another on two separate occasions the Real Housewives of Orange County star took it as a sign. “I was hopeful we could find a way forward,” after the breakup. Maybe at least stay friends? But obviously, it wasn’t possible.

“Being around one another only made it harder for both of us.” They even decided to unfollow one another on IG because that was too painful as well. So, of course, the holidays for Beador were rough.

“The holidays were very, very difficult. I couldn’t believe he wasn’t here, and there would be days I would just cry myself to sleep,” revealed the mom of three. “But it’s a new year, and I’m ready for a fresh start.”

The insurance broker claims he is in his own pain. “It’s sad because I love Shannon very much,” he insists even though it was his choice to break up with her. “I have loved her more deeply than any woman in my life … And I know that for as long as I live, I’ll never meet anyone like her again.

Jansen added. “But that doesn’t mean we’re right for each other for the rest of our lives.” John also went on to say that he lost belief in the relationship and that “love is not always enough.” John ultimately said, “I think the world of Shannon. I just want the best for her. She deserves that.”

The pair began dating in 2019 via a hookup from mutual friends. He has appeared on RHOC many times and it looks like we will be seeing him in the upcoming season 17 which premieres later this year.
